UCLA S Malik Hartford (@MalikHartford) has my attention after his performance against Michigan State this past weekend.
I love his range, closing speed, and versatility on the back end. Still needs to clean up his tackling angles and coverage recognition, but the upside is intriguing.
Chris Conte is my NFL comp, given their similar long, lean frames, ability to cover ground in single-high looks, and willingness to come downhill against the run, and I’m hoping he continues to stack good weeks like this.

Fit or not, Jets claim him then draft Poncho Laloulu in April so they could have:
Olu, Laulu and Laloulu
Source: The #Raiders are releasing DT Jonah Laulu.
The former Oklahoma star was a healthy scratch on Sunday, but was very productive last season — recording 8 TFLs and 4.5 sacks. His 86 tackles were the most-ever by a Raiders’ DL over the first 2 years.

Not shocked at all, since he still hasn’t been medically cleared. This allows him to focus on the most important thing, and it’s not transferring or declaring for the NFL Draft, it’s his health. Best wishes to Dante Moore and hope he gets healthy soon.
The esteemed Hizzoner @paulril59129293 right again. Could’ve been backing up Geno Smith with $53 million in the bank
NEW: Oregon star QB Dante Moore is not expected to return this season due to injury, Dan Lanning announced.

Temped to drop a Jets mock but an Eagles win tonight would change things nicely, so I’ll wait.
Meanwhile 🦅 fly Eagles fly 🦅
The Jets fans wanting an experienced coach after Glenn is dismissed is heard, but I don’t agree.
Woody has not had a first time offensive coach in his ownership tenure. Maybe it would work; maybe it wouldn’t, but try something different.
Right now, barring firings, the options are Brian Daboll or Matt Nagy. Exciting? Not to me. And please stop with the Jon Gruden or Bruce Arians nonsense.
Head coaching records through 24 games in Woody Johnson’s tenure as owner:
Rex Ryan: 15-9
Herm Edwards: 13-11
Todd Bowles: 13-11
Eric Mangini: 11-13
Robert Saleh: 9-15
Adam Gase: 7-17
Aaron Glenn: 5-19
So when the inevitable happens and Aaron Glenn is promoted to spectator, what’s my wish list? As of now:
HC: Grant Udinski (current Jags OC)
OC: Wes Phillips (current Vikings OC, contract expires end of season) or Jerrod Johnson (current Eagles senior offensive assistant). Both worked alongside Udinski in Minnesota.
DC: ideally, an experienced one like a Dan Quinn but, if not, Karl Scott (current Seahawks DB coach)
Only 45% is actually shameful. Double that puppy up
Odds for Aaron Glenn to be the next HC fired have SKYROCKETED after today's loss to the Dolphins. He is now the favorite on @KalshiSports.
Aaron Glenn - 45%
Dan Quinn - 33%
Shane Steichen - 15%
Nick Siriani - 10%
Kellen Moore - 10%
Todd Bowles - 5%
