If you're an Ohio Republican you must think of Sherrod as a slasher villain. Just mowing through your bench every six years, and even if you beat him he'll just return in a reboot

Very true. If FDR was president today he would build hyperscale datacenters on western BLM land. The Civilian Superintelligence Corps would be building transmission lines. The TVA would be a vast nuclear buildout.
I haven't heard a single left socialist in the US propose anything other than consumer subsidies to reduce the cost of energy, food, or housing 1900s socialists LOVED massive public infrastructure projects, China still does! Completely absent from the US discourse

We got 54-56 Senators. It takes 67 to convict. If we waste time, energy, resources, & news coverage on another failed impeachment of a lame duck POTUS, it will hurt us in ‘28. They’re still going to do oversight (+ maybe enough to convict Hegseth or RFKJr). Let the adults work.
Schumer and Jeffries are trying to lay the groundwork for capitulation. They're trying to normalize it by making "affordability" their one and only priority. Nothing else matters, so they obviously don't have time for an impeachment investigation. That's their excuse.

Just absolutely wild to start pounding the table on this just days after Dems take back Congress, as if the GOP hasn't had a trifecta for the last two years.
Something Democrats AREN’T talking about? Social Security. Those just elected will have to find the solutions before the fund is insolvent in six short years.

Stephen Miller is Trump’s best spokesperson—a generational talent as a communicator and not at all off-putting. I’d strongly advise the administration to put him on every show and podcast, every day, so that Americans are continually reminded of everything Trump is doing.

You watch Alcaraz win matches like that and laugh at the idea that there are actual real people that will look you dead in the eye and tell you he isn't the best player in the world. Nobody produces what he does on the court currently, not even close to it.

If you succeed in “convincing the working people of the United States that a Democratic majority will not do the things they hope it will” then they will not join DSA in response, they will switch back to voting for Republicans.
Our work as DSA’s National Political Committee has just become harder in some tangible ways: we now have to convince the working people of the United States that a Democratic majority will not do the things it they hope it will, and that only WE can save ourselves.

For years, my dad battled Parkinson’s disease. On Election Night, I got to tell him, “Pop, we won.” This morning, he passed away. A part of me believes he held on just long enough to see his son make it to Congress. He won’t be there when I’m sworn in. But I know he’ll be standing right beside me. Rest easy, Daddy. I’ll take it from here. These next two years are for you ❤️
