if Abdul el sayed was interested in party unity he would have gone with Haley Stevens so they could endorse Mike Rogers together. instead he is sowing division by trying to win
you're 25 and you've saved $50,000. i salute you.
leave it in the s&p for 50 years and you'll have about $6 million. pity you'll be 75 and probably fucking dead.
and the next 10 years? i think it's zero, zero, zero, with a drawdown of something like 50% somewhere in there. i don't know anyone signing up for 0% a year. no thank you.
so what's a boy to do? that's my fat pitch, and i'll keep making it here. follow me if you'd rather not find out the answer at 75.

Lotta people joking about it but I do think the next phase if the GOP loses house/senate is a paramilitary presence back on the streets in coordination with law enforcement groups that the executive branch controls. They have been remarkably quiet for the first part of Trump 2.

This @TheEconomist story on the winners and losers from Trumponomics is fantastic and highlights just how REGRESSIVE his (and GOP) policies have been.
* Tariffs will cost the average household $1,100 this year (per Yale’s Budget Lab)
* The war in Iran will cost the average household another $1,000 (per Yale’s Budget Lab)
* Removing Obamacare subsidies raised average premiums for individual insurance purchased on exchanges by $800 a year (per KFF)
The story has a chart that shows the impact of Trump’s policies by income decile, revealing how the poorest took the biggest income blow, while the richest did the best. And this chart vastly understates the disparity in impact, as a 3% lift on an income of $500K is much larger in dollar terms than a 3% drop in income for the poorest.
This is the choice in the election. Vote Republican if you believe in regressive policies. Vote Democratic if you believe in progressive policies.
