Proud of the partnership b/t Opsys & Sanjoanense ADS got relegated to div 4 last year, asked for help w/ data-lead recruitment So far this year: - top half of the table - 3rd in xG (out of 56!) - Beat a div 1 club in the cup All on one of the smallest budgets in the league 💪

Opsys is focused on helping orgs spend more time on their sporting direction by building the operating system for analysts Analysts spend 80% of the time doing the repetitive work to make a decision. Our goal is to spend that 80% ensuring you’re making the right decision

So say AI can automate all the work you do, is then the next step understanding what work actually matters to move the needle? Furthermore, is it to help define the needle that matters to you the most?

So ultimately then, (I’m just thinking out loud) what matters is a way to help identify what the club is and help them be self reflective so the work comes with that But I genuinely don’t think many clubs do that regularly, if at all Curious to hear experiences on that

Because if a club cannot think about who they are, then how can they understand what direction to go in other than, “just win baby”..? Again, just thinking out loud and curious to hear people’s thoughts on this

Look at him, thats my Qual. Your what? My Qualitative! My vibe specialist. Look at him, you notice anything different about him? Look at his face. I'll give you a hint, his name is Jayden. He won a local poetry competition in bushwick! Yeah I'm sure of the vibe.

But seriously, what is football Twitter now? What is interesting? Maybe I get bored easily but I don’t find it interesting seeing bar charts or scatters that say, “look this player is good” I, frankly, don’t care

I guess what I’m getting at is, what can we do to improve the community on here? - Context in analysis - what decisions you make with your outputs - communicating the insight And share, share, share

I’m super guilty of not sharing at all because I’m focused on Opsys, but I can share more I’ll share more thoughts, context, decisions from outputs, and communicating the insights Also go on threads. It’s way better lol
