During the tense nighttime confrontation in Warsaw, MEP Grzegorz Braun filmed riot police standing in formation outside the Constitutional Tribunal.
Braun pointed to officers whose helmets appeared to lack visible identification numbers or markings, raising doubts about whether everyone in the formation could be properly identified.
“IS THIS EVEN THE POLICE, OR A GANG OF IMPOSTORS?!”
His allegation was echoed by Polish politician Włodzimierz Skalik, who described attempting to obtain an officer’s identification number.
Skalik claimed that the officer appeared not to understand Polish and turned to another officer for an explanation.
“HE GAVE THE IMPRESSION THAT HE DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT I WAS SAYING TO HIM — THAT HE DID NOT UNDERSTAND POLISH.”
The allegations come amid Poland’s escalating constitutional confrontation, with President Karol Nawrocki and opposition politicians challenging the government’s actions surrounding the Constitutional Tribunal.

Some helmets and shields in the footage visibly carry police markings, while other identification details are obscured or difficult to distinguish.
There is no verified evidence in the footage that the officers are impostors or foreign personnel.

Anton Raymond Illich, 47, was dragged into Perth Magistrates Court after the Australian Federal Police tracked down a series of unhinged Facebook posts.
The left wing extremist faces major charges for using a carrier service to threaten the life of a sitting federal parliamentarian.
In a dramatic twist, Illich’s defence team scrambled for a psychological assessment adjournment, admitting to “complex legal issues” as they attempt to negotiate with the prosecution.
The AFP confirmed they swooped on the Bayswater local back in July following the chilling death threats.
Illich has yet to enter a plea, but he’s managed to get his bail extended, meaning this Albanese backing radical is back on the streets until his next court date on January 27.

The self-help modules advise potential offenders to "go for a brisk walk", "journal your thoughts", and "try to avoid sexual fantasies about children when masturbating"
The site compares efforts to change or suppress a sexual attraction to children to historical, discredited attempts to change homosexual attraction (gay conversion therapy).
