I'm deeply disappointed in @IronPigs and the @Phillies organization. There is so much $$ behind the pit bull advocacy. I will always stand with the victims of pit bull attacks. dogsbite.org/dog-bite-victim… youtube.com/watch?v=iFa8HOde…

Should ignorant people like this even be able to vote? Read his replies to comments… maybe this guy is trolling? I don’t know. This is why democracy may not always be a great idea if he and others like him are serious. Plato said if we don’t vote, we would be governed by idiots… smart people need to get out and vote!
I just voted for Dr. Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan because of his support for Medicare-for-All and Palestine. Healthcare is a human right, including in sharia law btw, which Dr. Abdul will fight hardest for. I'm also sick of my wife crying at night bc of the stress I'm under from Trump and the genocide. From sea to shining sea all will be free. ✊

A good non-lethal (and expensive/impractical) solution would be to sterilize all the rats and let them go naturally extinct. Since the cost of this could never be justified, we may not have many choices - either kill them or live with them. But I guess never say never - the city seems to like spending a lot of money on stupid things, like they have money growing on trees...

There have been some positive moments from her but she keeps embarrassing the city of Philadelphia. She is probably net negative to the city at this point.
.@PhillyMayor Cherelle Parker tells @EmilyRPeck that the city hopes to launch its historic mortgage program “before the end of 2026.” “Imagine getting a mortgage, a 30-year commitment, with no PMI,” Parker said, and accessible “with less-than-perfect credit.” #AxiosLive

In the United States, white people earn significantly more than black people on average. But as soon as you compare blacks and whites with the same IQ, that gap disappears like magic... This is one of the clearest pieces of evidence that systemic racism isn't what's driving the raw overall income disparity between the two groups.

Why would anyone do this? 😡
Earlier today, the 9/11 Memorial at Ground Zero in Manhattan was defaced with graffiti. I wear on my wrist the names of over a hundred friends and colleagues who lost their lives in the attacks twenty five years ago. 1/2

Happy National Black Cat Day! 🐈‍⬛ Black cats are amazing and, as Welsh folklore tells us, bring good luck to the home: "A black cat, I’ve heard it said, Can charm all ill away, And keep the house wherein she dwells From fever’s deadly sway" #NationalBlackCatDay #BlackCatDay #Wales

🔥👀 THE CURRENT STATE OF PHILADELPHIA. What you are seeing here is Chaz Wearing punching a man onto the tracks in front of a train in 2024. He was FREE on the street with an outstanding bench warrant from a 2022 Upper Darby strangulation case. DA Larry Krasner’s office didn’t charge him with murder … they charged him with involuntary manslaughter. He never faces a jury. Democrat Judge Diana Anhalt hears the bench trial and acquits him March 3, 2025. That strangulation case? He pleaded guilty in June 2024 and got 11½ to 23 months in county jail with credit for time served back to January 2024. A man is dead. Victim’s name & photo were Never released. Local Philly stations cover it for a couple days. Then silence. No CNN, no NYT, no national networks. When he was acquitted by the Democrat judge Philly local media didn’t even cover it… just KYW Newsradio ran the story. The judge Diana Louise Anhalt also presided over the FIRST EVER SAME SEX MARRIAGE in Philadelphia. She is up for re election in 2032. Who wants to take a guess at why it appears the media buried this? What is this victims name?

On January 26, 2011, a snowstorm hit Philadelphia hard enough that schools let out early. Ellen Greenberg was 27, a first grade teacher. She was engaged, planning a wedding, and living with her fiancé in an apartment in the Manayunk neighborhood. That afternoon, her fiancé went down to the building's gym. When he came back up, he couldn't get in. The apartment door was locked with the swing bar latch, the kind that can only be fastened from the inside. He called her. Texted her. Emailed her. For about half an hour. No answer. He finally forced the door open. Ellen was in the kitchen, slumped against the cabinets. A 10 inch knife was buried in her chest. She had been stabbed 20 times. Including wounds to the back of her head and neck. She also had bruises in different stages of healing. The medical examiner who did the autopsy ruled it a homicide. Then, after meeting with police, he changed it. Suicide. Police pointed to that latched door. No sign of forced entry. No sign anyone else had been there. They said she'd been under stress and anxiety in the weeks before. Her parents were devastated. How does someone stab themselves in the back of the neck? Twenty times? They spent years and hundreds of thousands of dollars fighting the ruling. Forensic experts sided with them. Even the original medical examiner later said in a sworn statement that he no longer believed it should be called a suicide. In 2025, the city settled their lawsuits and agreed to a fresh review. The new review came back in October 2025. Same answer. Suicide. Then this January, something nobody expected. Federal prosecutors started issuing subpoenas to the Philadelphia police and other agencies involved in the case. By spring, FBI agents were interviewing witnesses. Her fiancé has never been suspected of wrongdoing. Nobody has ever been charged. 15 years later, Ellen Greenberg's death is still officially a suicide. Her parents still don't believe a word of it.
