Really, @TheOxfordMail, you excel yourself with this story.

Once again Henwood proves himself a publicity seeking idiot.
But is he also transphobic?
Very glad to see the complete lack of support for him.

Now seems to be a good time to remind Farage I’m still up for debating him. Anytime.
The Councillor that doesn't want you to have safe, low traffic streets, also wants to drive through villages at 53mph, earning himself a conviction for speeding.

Replying to @TheOxfordMail
If this OM journalist had read the other OM journalist's report, she would see 69-81% of respondents supported the various aspects of this plan.
So the claim that "Most comments argued against the plan" is an Oxford Mail falsehood.

This story sum up @TheOxfordMail. It would rather spread division and hate than save lives.
Each of these schemes had a most people supporting it in its consultation and is there to reduce danger from vehicles being driven too quickly where there are people on the road.

He called for others to resign over "tax errors". He hasn't got the honesty to admit his own yet (no doubt we'll wait a long time for that), but if he has any integrity, he will resign, or Nigel should save him the trouble & give him the boot now.
Well done to Geoff Leitch for pointing out David Henwood's consistent willingness to forgive drivers for their crimes, consistent quest for self-publicity, and now I come to think of it, @TheOxfordMail 's complicity in given it to him.
We should note that he has been censured formally for harassing and bullying a female councillor, and is a repeat liar.

Love or hate electric cars, this being accepted as normal is bizarre.
We now live in a world where it’s considered reasonable to idle a car outside school gates so you stay warm for a few minutes, at the direct expense of other people’s health.
Vehicle exhausts release nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) and fine particulate matter (PM2.5).
These pollutants are proven to trigger asthma attacks, worsen heart and lung disease, impair lung development in children, increase the risk of strokes and heart attacks, and contribute to premature deaths.
Children are especially vulnerable.
Their lungs are still developing, they breathe faster than adults, and school gates are often the worst air-quality hotspots of the day.
Air pollution is linked to tens of thousands of premature deaths every year in the UK alone.
That’s not opinion or something to be pretend to be oblivious to. That’s public-health data.
And yet idling outside schools is still treated as normal.
Still shrugged off.
Still defended as “only a few minutes”.
This isn’t about electric cars.
It’s about priorities.
When personal comfort ranks above clean air for kids, elderly people, and anyone with respiratory conditions, something has gone badly wrong.
It’s a small sign, but a telling one, of what we’ve quietly decided to accept.
And maybe it’s time we stopped.

Parnham seems to have conveniently forgotten the epic traffic traffic jams in Headington or on St. Clements. And failed to understand that traffic may flow on the road between two points, but grind to a halt in the queue at the end. (Which I'm sure he used to complain about).
