Finally got around to meeting this cute family of porcupines on the campus. Two adults and two juveniles. Their quills were tempting with the rustling noises they made. Adorable creatures! 🤩😍

Thanks to @poonam_thakur6 for giving a wonderful talk on her work. New discoveries with a new model system. Quality discussions were highlights before and during the talk.
This weekend we are hosting @poonam_thakur6 at SCIS @JNU_official_50 to give a talk on her research. Drop by if you are free on a Saturday morning.

This seemed a book on the current theme, and it didn't fail to talk about Bhakti movement, its origins and vision of an egalitarian society, by questioning. It left much to be desired for me, but a good primer for those who don't know about the effects of Bhakti movement.
Utterly beautiful writing! Even if it is a translation from Korean. Humans are such complex beings, yet understanding them is quite simple. Han Kang brings the best and worst of humans in this book.

Today we had an excellent lecture by Prof. Gautam Basu from Bose Institute titled "Art in Science" and it was extremely interesting. At the end we made origami DNA. Fun way to end the day! 🧬

Finally got around reading this essential reading. I had put of rrading for many years. But now with @Coforge_Tech lending library, I had no excuses. For those interested in questions about our universe and knowing a bit about Hawking's contribution this is a primer.

I loaned this book from @Coforge_Tech lending public library and it was unstoppable. I loved the topic, the deep research, the future it holds in synthetic biology. I am looking forward to the next book soon. Recommend reading this book! The microbiologist in me was happy! 🙌🏽🥰
