Art matters and shouldn’t be cut from a child’s education. Listen to me & my colleague, Ryan, on KDNK Radio talk about this subject, teaching art to 1500 students in Title 1 schools across Grand Junction, and all things education at the Aspen Art Museum.💖 tinyurl.com/vefeak6

My brother is an air traffic controller and this is no joke. He’s gone to work every day of the shutdown knowing he won’t get paid for his time spent keeping people safe... Infuriating for everyone affected.
Air traffic controllers have been passing out pamphlets to travelers at @INDairport since 8 a.m. to show the impact the partial government shutdown has had on safety and the hundreds of local furloughed employees -- and the essential ones working with no pay.
