Silence, Shabbos Goy.
You're getting ratio'd by Dexter.
Meet Marahal Commander Cody, designation CC-2224.
After the Jedi Purge, Cody was reassigned to Kamino where he was lost and presumed KIA during the Kaminoan uprising.
Any rumors that Cody would desert or was killed by a cloned Sith apprentice are slanderous Rebel propaganda.

Can you show me where retconning the most obvious plot points in a continuity has ever gone well?

That's the thing: Anakin wasn't a backup, he was the main character of the play.
Sidious needed Windu to incriminate himself (and the Order by extension) as traitors to the Republic to seal the deal and push Anakin to be his new apprentice.

If Sidious was locked in and not playing Shakespeare, it would buy Windu an extra ten seconds at best.
Knowing how to fight doesn't help much against such an obvious power imbalance that your three nearest peers are on the floor before you can say "Drop your weapon."

Technically yes, but Juyo does the same thing if you don't get lost in the moment. So against a competent Sith Lord like Sidious, it essentially becomes a feedback loop until one of them finally breaks or bows out (or feigns defeat).
Windu beat Lord Sidious like my 3yo son beats me at wrestling.
Sure, it was his biggest risk and the lightning show for Anakin got out of hand, but do you really think a closeted Dark Side user would beat a Dark Lord who also no-diffed 3 other High Councilors in 5 seconds?

Boomers and Gen Xers typically don't like when they have to think to appreciate cinema

The prequels were fantastic movies and no amount of complaining from Gen Xers or morons will change that.

I’m pretty sure I know exactly why Samuel Sey is having immigration trouble. In my view, several things in the public record suggest that he may have entered the United States on a non-immigrant visa, despite having had a clear intent to marry. If that was not disclosed when obtaining his non-immigrant visa, that would be a serious problem under current regulations.
Consider the recent statement from his family:
“My husband Samuel Sey entered the United States legally and has been working ever since in good faith with a lawyer to obtain permanent legal status. Our family is trying to understand what went wrong in the process. In the spirit of Romans 13, our family fully supports and respects American law and are prayerfully working to get him home through the legal process.”
What immediately stands out about this statement is what it doesn’t say. In particular, it tells us nothing about why it would take four years of working with a lawyer to obtain that status.
Legal Entry*:
Initially it was not clear whether or not Sey is (or was) a Canadian citizen, so the mechanism by which he entered the United States was not clear. However, I found a February 14, 2022 interview that he did with Allie Beth Stuckey which makes it clear that he had to obtain a visa to enter the United States (as opposed to entering visa-free as Canadian citizens do):
podscripts.co/podcasts/relat…
There are three very significant things in that interview:
Sey indicates that he entered the United States in the weeks before the February 14, 2022 interview, with the following exchange taking place:
“And so speaking of hurdles, let's talk about some of the hurdles, Samuel, that you had to jump over in order to get to Annie in the States. Because I know even up until like couple weeks ago, things were kind of up in the air, right?”
“Yeah, man. About the wedding day, people kept asking me when. I said, I don't know. We have dates in mind, but it depends on what happens with the visa. So essentially, so even to get my, so what's happening is in the visa process right now in Canada is this. it's very hard to get an appointment for the visa because of COVID restrictions and everything.”
Sey Discusses the Process of Obtaining a U.S. Visa and Going to an Interview in Calgary, Alberta:
“Yeah. So I got it. And then finally, I had the appointment, which was all the way in Calgary, the other side of the country. The reason why is because the Toronto embassy, the U.S. Embassy in Toronto, was essentially closed. It has been essentially close to the last two years, which is one of the reasons why I couldn't come over the last couple of years. So I go to Calgary. They approve me. They approve the visa.”
Sey got Engaged in August of 2021:
“But then in 20, but then from that year, 2019 until 2021, we didn't see each other for two years. Wow. Until I saw her in August, for the the first time since 2019, and then I proposed to her.”
We also know that he was married on April 23, 2022: instagram.com/p/DXfpiT0lmBB/
Problems With Potential Visa Misrepresentations:
Taken together, all of this is a huge problem for Sey because, under U.S. gudiance, someone who enters in a non-immigrant visa and takes certain actions inconsistent with that status within 90 days is presumed to have engaged in willful misrepresentation: fam.state.gov/fam/09FAM/09FA…
And we know that this is a possible problem in this case, because Sey discussed at length going to an interview in 2021 or 2022 in Calgary. However, all interviews for fiancé visas (the K-1 visa) are conducted in Montreal, Quebec: ca.usembassy.gov/fiancee/ and have been since 2016 berardiimmigrationlaw.com/fi…. So whatever visa got, could not have been a fiancé visa. Moreover, based upon my knowledge and experience, if he had declared an intent to marry and remain in the United States to the visa officer, he would not have been granted a B-2 visa and would have been told to apply for a K-1 visa instead.
