The most elite group of ball knowers in American politics are the Conor Lamb-Mallory McMorrow people

There is no doubt in my mind that Mallory McMorrow was well and truly ratfucked.
But there is also no doubt in my mind that she has a bright future ahead of her, unlike Haley Stevens.

Everyone who knows Francesca Hong knows she'd be running through the tape to help Democrats up and down the ticket in Wisconsin. If Democrats win a trifecta in Wisconsin this week, she'll be one of the reasons why.

I know @HaleyforMI way better than most people on X. She and I came into Congress together in 2018. She was co-Prez of our freshman class. She was incredibly kind to me when my late partner died; she organized a big group of our class to come to the House floor to support me when I spoke about his suicide. We were roommates in 2023, after my wonderful first roomie lost her election; both my adult kids know Haley well and are on a texting basis with her. We’ve socialized and we have good friends in common. While she and I differ on one impt issue, specifically Israel and AIPAC support, I’ve never publicly challenged her on those things, because I felt that her good points outweighed the issues I disagreed with her on. Today, that changes. 👇
Haley’s endorsement of Rogers in the MI senate race is appalling. Not because he’s a Republican, but because what he stands for is what she, and I, and our caucus has fought so hard against. Rogers is a 100% anti-choice politician. He is a Trump loyalist. He’s shown his Islamophobia in his many remarks against @AbdulElSayed, and with this endorsement, Haley has shown that she agrees with his positions. I’m shocked by Haley’s endorsement. I’m terribly sad and disappointed. I’m furious and will be more so if we lose the MI senate race. So many people in the Democratic Party have shown so much support to Haley over the years, and she has betrayed them all. If this is because of her new relationship (about which many of us were so happy for her after she lost the primary), all I can say is that any woman who abandons her friends when a new guy comes along is no friend at all. The fallout for Haley won’t just be in Dem politics; she will be a pariah among her friends in the Democratic caucus in Congress. Only she will be able to decide whether it was worth it.

I strongly disagree with Haley Stevens’ decision to endorse Mike Rogers. I believe the Democratic Party is the answer to this moment of peril.
Buttigieg: I voted for Abdul, it was because Abdul is for everybody getting health care running against Mike Rogers, who repeatedly voted to cut the affordable care act. This vote was not a close call for me. And whatever Haley Stevens says isn't going to change that for me. And I don't think it's changing that for a lot of Michiganders either.

Watching 1968’s “The Green Slime” on TCM and remember people arguing over the poster, “The Green Slime Are Coming!” Shouldn’t that be the Green Slime IS coming? Watching it now, though, I can attest the correct answer is: “The Green Slime” is crap.

Advised Mallory’s campaign: can confirm everything Igor is reporting is absolutely correct. This posture started before Mallory even announced her Senate run and permeated via her consultants and staff as well.
To the erratic nature of dealings with her echoed by many Dems in Michigan today, Haley actually originally told Mallory she would not run for Senate and encouraged her to run, then aggressively attempted to bully her out of announcing once she realized Mallory was serious.
Long before Haley launched her own campaign, she was openly bragging to people in MI’s political circle that she would have an easy time running because of the tens of millions promised to her by AIPAC. That entitlement is why she never ran a real campaign, skipped forums, and felt like support for her from several key demos and groups was a forgone conclusion. She moves like a mob boss without any of the strategic prowess to sustain it. Threaten. Go scorched earth. Hit you up like nothing happened when you have something she needs. Repeat.
However disappointed and disgusted you are in her today, it isn’t enough.
Haley Stevens had a “bizarre obsession” with Mallory McMorrow, per a source familiar with the inner workings of Stevens’ Senate campaign:
“Nearly every thing Mallory said or did caused some sort of break down from Haley…Even after Mallory dropped out of the race, she and her fiance wanted to continue to attack McMorrow”
“On the day Mallory dropped out, Haley refused to call her. Instead, staff drafted a text for Haley to send to her. Haley still refused to send it, despite telling staff she was going to, and only sent it after a journalist from Politico reported that Haley had not reached out to Mallory yet.”
“There was a video that Haley attempted to film saying that Mallory had run a great race and encouraging Mallory’s supporters to vote for her, which ended up being scrapped because Haley sounded so insincere when praising McMorrow and her campaign.”

THIS is what this campaign has always been about. While so many people are focused on dividing and distracting us from what really matters, Scott has always believed in bringing people together and finding common ground. He is a leader and will make a great Senator.
I walked the Trump rally line to listen, not make assumptions. I talked with voters, asked questions and heard what matters to them.
When I'm elected, I'll represent all 82 counties and every Mississippian, no matter who they voted for. That's what being your senator means. #MississippiMatters
