⭐️⭐️⭐️ MEMORIAM at Southwark Playhouse from Monday’s press night. What happens when you propose editing and sanitising a 92 year old’s actual memories of Auschwitz to render them palatable to your virtual reality consumers? londonboxoffice.co.uk/news/p… @LBO_Theatre @swkplay

Review: MEMORIAM at Southwark Playhouse Borough

MEMORIAM at Southwark Playhouse. Written by Noga Flaishon and directed by Daniel Goldman, it is about Jews, their harrowing Holocaust memories, and the modern, almost dystopian craving for ‘lived...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ILFORD BOY at Donmar Warehouse. …chatty, nuanced, playful, crass, foul-mouthed with well-honed, utterly relatable characters thanks to Wynter’s sharp writing and Tim Sheader’s excellent direction. londonboxoffice.co.uk/news/p… @DonmarWarehouse @KMorleyPR @LBO_Theatre

Review: ILFORD BOY at Donmar Warehouse

Danny Lee Wynter’s ILFORD BOY currently playing at the Donmar Warehouse is an oddly enjoyable blend, pitched somewhere between an Alan Ayckbourn farce and an EastEnders special. Ilford Boy at Donmar...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ DERREN BROWN: ONLY HUMAN at Apollo Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue. People skills and techniques which can be learnt, but are rarely developed and mastered in the way Brown has spent his life honing. londonboxoffice.co.uk/news/p… @NimaxTheatres #DerrenBrown @LBO_Theatre

Review: DERREN BROWN: ONLY HUMAN at Apollo Theatre

What is there left to say about Derren Brown the showman, which hasn’t already been said? Not a whole lot, I suspect. To those who are eager and willing to fall under the spell of his brand of...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ MARTIN GUERRE at The Old Vic. Revitalised and stylistically improved version of Boublil & Schönberg’s original, starring diminutive powerhouse Liv Andrusier beautifully paired with Shane O’Riordan. londonboxoffice.co.uk/news/p… @LBO_Theatre @oldvictheatre @LAndrusier

Review: MARTIN GUERRE at The Old Vic

Boublil and Schönberg’s MARTIN GUERRE first hit the West End back in 1996 where it ran for 675 performances. I recall feeling a tad underwhelmed by it at the time, particularly given the writing...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ THE CHERRY ORCHARD @HPinterTheatre A smorgasbord of semi-likeable, oft-irritating, occasionally amusing family members, household familiars and those merely with a vested interest in hanging about for so long as it is expedient. londonboxoffice.co.uk/news/p… @LBO_Theatre

Review: THE CHERRY ORCHARD at Harold Pinter Theatre
