Paros residence sits above an olive grove on the west coast of the island with a negative-edge pool cantilevering towards the Aegean Sea.
"The house reacts to the wonderful surrounding views and has been organised for the August sunset by arranging the layout around the East-West axis. We wanted to create an architecture that seems to touch the earth lightly"

Grab your virtual ski pass, SSA is taking you to the top of the Swiss Alps! Restaurant Gütsch is at the heart of the new ski region of Andermatt. A first-class gourmet restaurant, attracting both daytime skiers and dinner guests from the valley-based Grand Hotels.
The challenge was to create a design that caters for both client groups, developing two separate restaurants under the same roof.

In 2022, Studio Seilern Architects had a particularly strong showing for award wins and shortlisted projects. We feel honoured that our work has been appreciated on a global stage, and we are thankful for the kind words given by our contemporaries on the judging panels.
The judges said that the entries were of the highest calibre they have ever seen in these awards, saying that this year’s work povided “Beautiful, creative solutions, that are innovating the world of architecture”
And “seeing these amazing projects at such different scales of architecture is testament to how great the industry really is”.
