Finally getting home, she slips in as quietly as she can, hoping Robbie’s out for the night. She doesn’t feel like arguing with him tonight.
Walks home alone, much against Robbie’s wishes, but it’s cheaper than driving, so she doesn’t really care.
|| Alright, unfortunately it's too hard for me to write Aleta /and/ the other place I am tonight, so I'm gonna put Aleta away for now <3
"That's a pretty name, Laura." Smiling down at her, she turned her eyes back ahead, glancing around.
"What do you like to eat?" xitter.gq/ClonedDeviant/status/8…
"Laura," she answers simply, her eyes scanning the surroundings. xitter.gq/SuAlmaAzul/status/8668…
Aleta just gives a smile, starting down the street with him.
"Must be fate. Welcome to Hillrock Heights." xitter.gq/QuixoticCounsel/status…
"Then I ran into the right person."
He chuckled softly, his hand gently curling around her bicep. xitter.gq/sualmaazul/status/8668…
Giving her a reassuring smile, she started down the street, heading for her diner.
"I'm Aleta Enos. What's your name?" xitter.gq/ClonedDeviant/status/8…
...eyes her hand cautiously, then shrugs some and takes it, standing and nodding for her to lead. xitter.gq/SuAlmaAzul/status/8668…
Plans to attempt to get this girl to call her parents when they get to the diner. She should NOT be out here alone.
Nodding to the side, Aleta shoved one hand in her back pocket, holding her other hand out.
"Sí. It's not far from here." xitter.gq/ClonedDeviant/status/8…
She smiles then, but she's still a little cautious. New people aren't always nice.
"Will you take me?" xitter.gq/SuAlmaAzul/status/8668…
Giving her a smile, she nodded.
"I basically own it. La comida es maravillosa." xitter.gq/ClonedDeviant/status/8…
..Sitting there, Laura just stared at her, head tilting slightly.
"...es bueno? xitter.gq/SuAlmaAzul/status/8668…
Stepping closer so she was next to him, the brunette held her arm out, still smiling.
"Por supuesto. I've lived here all my life." xitter.gq/QuixoticCounsel/status…
He shifted, pulling the collapsible white can from his jacket pocket.
"Matthew. ¿Quieres caminar conmigo? I could use a decent guide." xitter.gq/sualmaazul/status/8668…
Glancing over, the brunette raised a brow some, taking a few steps closer.
"...I know of a nearby diner." xitter.gq/ClonedDeviant/status/8…
His laugh pulled a smile from her, the brunette shoving her hands into her pockets.
"I'm Aleta, by the way." xitter.gq/QuixoticCounsel/status…
He laughed out loud at that, shaking his head.
"I've heard worse from people. I'll take it as a compliment." xitter.gq/sualmaazul/status/8668…
He speaks Spanish.
/Finally/ someone else who does.
"Well, it seems like you've done a damn good job of it. Sorry if that sounds rude." xitter.gq/QuixoticCounsel/status…
He heard the Spanish and smiled just a bit wider.
"No es tan impresionante. I wasn't born blind. I had to ... learn to deal with it." xitter.gq/sualmaazul/status/8668…
Blind. That...actually explained it pretty well.
"You don't seem held back by it. Estoy impresionado. Most people would whine, not smile." xitter.gq/QuixoticCounsel/status…
Matt adjusted the glasses he wore, a half smile on his lips.
"Blind. So yes." xitter.gq/sualmaazul/status/8668…
His gesture caught her attention, and blinking once, Aleta took a single step forward, head tilting.
"...Heard? Not saw?" xitter.gq/QuixoticCounsel/status…
"Sorry. I could ..." He gestured toward his ears. "I heard you around is all." xitter.gq/sualmaazul/status/8668…
Raising a brow some, Aleta crossed her arms, but didn't not back.
"Hi." xitter.gq/QuixoticCounsel/status…
Matt tilted his head slightly, listening, before nodding in the woman's direction. "Hello." xitter.gq/sualmaazul/status/8668…
