While browsing Hyprland plugins, I noticed that a large percentage of them are dedicated to Omarchy. It’s a great distro for sure, but it’s become a bit too fancy, which might harm performance. So I switched to CachyOS with the Bore kernel to try it out, and I’ve started to miss the fan noise.
Designers before AI always came up with imaginary features just because they looked good on the page. AI is no different. And they say the same thing: just remove it. But without it, the design looks empty and unfinished.

People — since I started talking — just don’t listen. They want to make me believe it’s all because I’m hard to follow or generally difficult to understand.
Vibe coding proved them wrong. LLMs always get me, even when I’m not sure what I’m trying to say. Somehow, they still understand what I mean and signal I'm absolutely right.
Dunno where that super-intelligence is when they have to work on a problem that not over-printed. They just try to send me back to an aboriginal.
Or maybe I’m just a natural at agentic prompting. Year by year — or even month by month — my prompts seem to produce more effective, more accurate, and more on-target solutions. 🫅

Use a tiling window manager with semi-transparent windows ‒ the active one can be opaque. Add at least a dozen semi-interesting background pictures (👅), ideally different for every monitor. Have those wallpapers randomly rotate every 1-3 minutes.
Time is perceptibly passing, creating a somewhat similar feeling to what the tomato timer is supposed to evoke.
