See how a special effects guy with plenty of free time on his hands turns his son into the most popular kid in the neighborhood.

Stop letting people who do so little for you occupy so much of your mind, time and emotions.

You can’t watch the news all day and stay afloat. If you constantly take in the negative, you’re going to sink. Tune it out and tune into what God says about you. Don’t let what’s on the outside get on the inside.

It's not only moving that creates new starting points. Sometimes all it takes is a subtle shift in perspective, an opening of the mind, an intentional pause and reset, or a new route to start to see new options and new possibilities.

Today consider what it means to say to Jesus, “take my life, a living sacrifice  to you.”  When you are invited into a relationship with Jesus. You realize that your body is a living sacrifice, that allows Him to lead, direct, and even push you in a certain way.

You don’t have to walk around wondering why you're ’re not blessed! God promises that you will be blessed when you reverence, love and obey Him.

Sometimes the miracle is....... That after all you’ve been through...... You’re still in your right mind. That’s enough of a reason......to give him praise.

You get concerned about how things are going to turn out and think you have to do something. Pray in the spirit (tongues) about it, expecting to receive wisdom. Order your copy, "Prayer on a New Dimension" at aacowan.org/books

To love God above this world, you must continually renew your mind with the Word of God and set your mind primarily on what is spiritual instead of what is earthly.

Yes. But I wish it didn’t cost him his life. We - ALL humans, not just black folks, be clear - have to do better. There is too much evil in this world, trying to take out the good.

If you are ever going to measure yourself with anyone, measure yourself with Jesus. Everyone has their own plan through Jesus. Understand the plan of God for your life. Start living your life for the plan God has ordained for you...

“Until you change the way you think, you will not change your life. You need to change the way you perceive yourself. Often, we start measuring ourselves from our past, we count ourselves out, and we measure ourselves based on other people...
