A "hidden harmony" blends the beauty of the blond-haired woman in his painting and that of his dark-haired lover Floria Tosca. But deep down Mario Cavaradossi, idealist revolutionary and painter, only has eyes only for Tosca even though she can be exasperatingly jealous. Jonathan Tetelman tells it all in "Recondita armonia" from Puccini's "Tosca" at the Elbphilharmonie, Hamburg, April 2026.
