WHAT IS MENTAL TOUGHNESS?
It’s being disappointed - and staying disciplined.
It's being criticized - and remaining coachable.
It's making a mistake - and demanding the ball again.
It's feeling pressure - and executing your responsibility anyway.

Do you want to know the definition of a great baseball teammate?
Watch this video 👇👇👇
Sal Frelick reminds us that it’s not always about YOU.
It’s about recognizing, celebrating, and appreciating the outstanding performance of your teammates.
Great teammates celebrate other’s success as much as their own.
A masterclass in mental toughness from Cooper Pratt
Missed his pitch? “Relax. Breathe.”
Made an error? “Mistakes happen. Let it go. Focus on the next pitch.”
He understands something every young player needs to learn:
You can’t change the last play. You can control the next one.
Coaches, how are you teaching your players to FLUSH IT?

Love the HR as much as the next guy… but 10-0 with zero bombs. Two out and two strike hitting clinic!!! Magical… it works!!!! It’s winning baseball and it beats anyone!!!!
And the hustle play to beat force at 2B was huge!!!!

The little things WIN!!!
Play hard and hustle. Every pitch… both on O and D… It changes games. 🧨 A routine force out at second base (to end the inning) ended up being the catalyst to a dominant victory. 97% of players just conceive the force out at second base right there and don’t go into the base as hard as possible.

"There are standards here. There is a way that we play."
When the coach holds players accountable, it’s a rule.
When players hold each other accountable, it’s the standard.

Any Freshmen baseball players who are interested in walking in the parade with us, please contact me today (Thurs) and let me know.
We are good to go for the alumni game on Sat at 10:00. We got guys from the first class (1996), all the way up to last year's group. Looking forward to seeing everyone! Show up around 9:30 to get warmed up; we will try to begin as close to 10:00 as possible.
