What faster downloads in 3.7 mean for your clients. Your client clicks download on a big gallery and it starts moving right away, and can see how far along it is instead of guessing. Small thing, but it's the difference between a client who waits and one who emails you.

If you use the Automated Email Marketing add-on, 3.2 is the one to update today. Every automated email now includes an unsubscribe link, and Gmail and Yahoo show their own one-click option. Both expect that now, and it affects whether you reach the inbox at all.

A tip if you sell digital downloads. When your photos live in cloud storage, 3.7 is a big jump for your clients. A 100 photo gallery went from about half a minute to under three seconds in my testing. Update Digital Downloads to 3.3.0 alongside core for all of it.

One change in 3.7 reaches every visitor, not just buyers. Sunshine stopped leaving a cookie on visitors who don't need one. Caching plugins skip any page carrying a cookie, so those pages can be cached again. If your caching plugin never seemed to help, that's why.

Galleries pile up faster than most photographers expect. One per class, one per team, one per session, and after a few years there are far more than you'd guess. In 3.7 I reworked how they load. The bigger your site, the more you'll notice it.
