Another development in Leeds is the digital expansion of @SundayPractise as a black led space for the arts (eg poets, musicians, theatre-makers and singer/songwriters) in the North. Fundraising is ongoing to create a digital space and resource for artists youtu.be/q0tkzn_uD_Y

Children from low income families who engage with arts activities are 3 x more likely to get a degree. Young people who participate in culture are 20% more likely to vote. @OliverDowden your silence is not just costing livelihoods, it's disenfranchising a generation. Act now.
We are excited to hear the outcome of these conversations 😇
We've been talking with the @britishlibrary about (6 year old!) @SundayPractise a space created for poets, musicians & theatre-makers. We're inspired by their commitment to wellbeing & creating a digital space for Black-led arts in the North. Learn more at youtu.be/q0tkzn_uD_Y
