A young under-7s goalkeeper conceded a goal, lost his confidence and didn't want to carry on playing. Rather than letting the game continue, referee Harry sat beside him on the grass and gave him some much-needed encouragement. When it happened again, Harry did exactly the same, helping the young lad regain his confidence and enjoy his football. This is what grassroots football is all about. Building confidence, showing kindness and making sure every child enjoys the game. A brilliant gesture from Harry. A credit to grassroots football. 👏❤️⚽
