Davidson County Schools canceled the rest of the team's season effective immediately. Was canceling their season the right call?

🚨 "WELL, THAT'S WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE." Police in Pennsylvania pulled over a Black mother and accused her of a "drug transaction" after she handed her son his forgotten coffee cup outside his home. Fairview Township, Pennsylvania "What did you hand off to the gentleman that walked out of his house?" the officer asks 55-year-old business owner Biancha Tatum on video. "His coffee cup," Tatum tells him. "I'm tired of him leaving his mess in my car." The officer still asks to search her vehicle: "Well, that's what it looked like." "I'm a business owner, okay? I don't sell drugs, do drugs… I gave him a coffee cup. It was a white coffee cup!" Should handing your son his coffee cup ever be probable cause for a police stop?

NEW: A two-time Jeopardy champion in North Carolina has been arrested again less than three months after a judge spared him prison time and put him on probation. Now a judge has denied his bond and locked him in the Wake County Jail. According to an arrest warrant obtained by WBTV, 44-year-old Philip Joseph "Joey" DeSena of Raleigh was arrested on Friday and charged with 10 felony counts of second-degree exploitation of a minor. Investigators allege the development engineer duplicated unlawful explicit images and videos involving minors between the ages of 7 and 15. The arrest comes less than a year after DeSena turned himself in on December 1, 2025, on two felony counts of secret peeping in Currituck County. In that earlier case, deputies said he hid cameras inside a bedroom and a bathroom at a rental house in Corolla "with the intent to capture the image of another without their consent." Instead of prison time, a judge allowed DeSena to plead guilty on July 27 to five years of probation, 100 hours of community service, and a mental health evaluation. Under that plea deal, the judge did not even require him to register as a sex offender. Just months earlier, DeSena won two straight nights on Jeopardy in November 2024 to take home $44,698 before returning for the Champions Wildcard semifinals in January 2025. "It was a literal dream come true," DeSena said at the time while praising the show's crew and his fellow contestants. When someone pleads guilty to hiding cameras in a bedroom and bathroom, should a judge ever be allowed to hand them probation without sex-offender registration?

A racist white woman throws coffee at a Black landscaping company owner in Long Island, calls the police on him, and then argues in the officer's face while he reads the man's paid work order. Long Island, New York Business owner David Tallerico says he arrived in the neighborhood with his crew to complete a paid landscaping job when the woman walked up to his truck, threw her coffee at him, and hurled a racial slur before calling 911. When officers arrived and verified Tallerico's work order on the sidewalk, she still tried to order the police to kick his crew off the block: "They're not allowed!" "Do you own it?" Tallerico says instead of arresting her for assault and filing a false report, police let her walk with a warning. If the roles were reversed, would he have walked away without handcuffs?

🚨 "OH, YOU'RE GONNA HIT ME?" A white woman stood in front of a young Black man on the street, acted like he was going to hit her, and then hurled a RACIAL SLUR when his mom stepped in filming. "Why are you standing in front of me though?" he asks on video. She throws her hands up: "Oh, you're gonna hit me?" "Bro, move out my way," he tells her, as his mom steps in behind the camera: "Just gotta make sure you straight." The woman turns to the camera: "Oh my god, why is she in my face?" then flips the middle finger and yells the N-word at his mother before walking off as the crowd gasps. Why play the victim first and then drop a racial slur walking away?

🚨 “TAKE YOUR N*GGER A** OUT OF HERE!” A racist white woman hurls a RACIAL SLUR at a Black man outside apartment complex who was simply doing his job. 📍 New Jersey The man says he and a coworker were visiting existing customers at an apartment complex when a woman and another man accused them of soliciting and called police. According to him, officers checked his license and left. But the confrontation didn’t end there. The woman approached him, pointed at him, demanded he leave and called him the N-WORD. “Just trying to feed my family,” he wrote, adding that he feared the confrontation could have turned deadly if they had a gun. QUESTION 🙋🏽‍♂️: What makes racists think they have the right to treat people this way?

"It was a HATE CRIME," the family says. A Black father and son got into an argument with a man at an Omaha gas station. In the parking lot, he started screaming: "Do you want to f***ing die? Look at me!" According to the affidavit, he told them: "You wanna get shot? You're in West O now." Prosecutors say he then opened fire. Police say one of the victims is believed to be permanently PARALYZED. The family says it's the father, 48, and that his 23-year-old son was shot in the liver. "My dad was a hero that night," his daughter said. She says he went for the gun to protect his son. The family believes he targeted them because they're Black. "He had no reason to do this." David Seyler, 31, faces six felony charges, including assault, terroristic threats and weapons charges. Bond is $750,000, and prosecutors say the charges carry up to 205 years. Back in March, he was sentenced to 48 days in jail after a strangulation case ended in a misdemeanor conviction. So why was he still carrying a gun?

CONVICTED: A father of four sexually abused a 17-year-old girl on a JetBlue flight while traveling with his wife and four children. 📍 Boston, Massachusetts Jonathan Alan Lefman, 48, repeatedly pushed his fingers through a gap in the airplane seat in front of him to grope the teenager’s buttocks during a flight from Puerto Rico to Boston. The girl initially thought he was stretching. But as the touching continued, she moved forward and side to side trying to escape his hand. She eventually spotted his reflection in the seatback monitor and secretly recorded his fingers coming through her seat. And he didn’t stop when the plane landed. Prosecutors said the abuse continued while passengers waited to get off. The teenager also recorded Lefman leaving the aircraft. Her family member confronted him and showed the evidence to airline staff. Lefman reportedly claimed he was stretching. On October 16, a federal jury convicted him of abusive sexual contact. A 17-year-old had to document her own sexual abuse while trapped in an airplane seat. Her evidence helped hold him accountable. Lefman faces up to only TWO YEARS IN FEDERAL PRISON, with sentencing scheduled for January 12, 2027.

But there's more. In 2025, Court records reveal Travis-Nunnally had previously been ordered to complete ANGER MANAGEMENT after threatening a woman with a knife if she broke up with him. He failed to complete it, missed a court hearing, and a charge for violating the court order was dismissed. WHY WAS THE COURT-ORDER VIOLATION DISMISSED AFTER HE FAILED TO COMPLY AND FAILED TO APPEAR? A BABY SHOULD NOT DIE FOR CRYING!!!!!!!!!!!

🚨 HATE CRIME ARREST: Racist white man accused of threatening to “PAINT MY DRIVEWAY WITH N*GGERS BLOOD” and calling for Black and LGBTQ people to be KILLED. 📍 Homestead, Florida Paul Vincent Critti, 21, sent unsolicited Instagram messages threatening murder, rape and hanging towards a Black woman. Police say he then sent the woman his LIVE LOCATION and challenged her to confront him. The woman reported the threats to the FBI. Critti was arrested and charged with a felony involving hate-motivated written threats. HE DIDN’T EVEN KNOW THE WOMAN HE WAS THREATENING. SHE REPORTED HIM TO THE FBI.

🚨 PASTOR SENTENCED FOR CHILD RAPE: Megachurch pastor who RAPED a girl at AGE 8 and sexually abused a SECOND GIRL who is now just 11 received just 8 YEARS IN PRISON. 📍 Amherst, New York John A. Camardo III, 47, was an executive pastor at The Chapel and a girls' travel soccer coach. He pleaded guilty to second-degree rape for sexually assaulting one child in 2024 and to a separate charge involving repeated sexual abuse of a second child between 2025 and 2026. THE BETRAYAL GOES EVEN DEEPER. Camardo had previously served as an advocate for people alleging sexual abuse by another former pastor associated with the same church. Now he's been sentenced for sexually abusing two children himself.

🚨 HORRIFIC: 7-YEAR-OLD BLACK GIRL died with 90 INJURIES, including NINE SHARP-FORCE WOUNDS described as STAB WOUNDS. One caused a FOUR-INCH INTERNAL INJURY that perforated her bowel and led to a fatal infection after months of alleged torture. 📍 Bayport, Long Island, New York Jor'Dynn Duncan was just 7 years old when she died from a massive untreated infection. Investigators also documented bruises, scars and bite marks. Her legal guardian, Emily Kelly, 50, faces murder charges. Kelly's mother, Barbara Renner, 75, faces manslaughter charges, while her daughter, Elyssa Seymore, 24, faces unlawful imprisonment charges. Investigators recovered PHOTOS AND VIDEOS documenting the torture from Kelly's phone and online accounts. Jor'Dynn had also missed approximately 40 days of school. Prosecutors say Kelly fabricated excuses, including a trip to Disney World, to conceal the abuse. Now Jor'Dynn's body has been exhumed as investigators continue gathering evidence, with permission from her biological mother. Her mother is suing Suffolk County for $250 million, alleging failures by child protective services and other authorities. CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES PLACED JOR'DYNN IN THAT HOME. 🚨POLICE OFFICER CHARGED WITH RAPE: Louisiana cop accused of sexual misconduct involving a 13-year-old girl now faces a SEPARATE rape charge involving an adult woman. 📍 LIVINGSTON PARISH, LOUISIANA Hayden McKenzie, 23, a Walker police officer, was arrested after investigators received a sexual assault complaint involving a child who was just 13 YEARS OLD. After his arrest, ANOTHER WOMAN came forward. She told police McKenzie had raped her in April 2024 a year before the incident involving the child. And despite the allegations, the Walker Police Department confirmed he was JUST SUSPENDED WITH PAY pending an administrative investigation. Two separate victims. One is a child. And the accused is a police officer. HOW MANY TIMES DO WE HAVE TO SEE A POLICE OFFICER IN A STORY LIKE THIS?

🚨 CHARGED WITH MURDER: Florida man accused of shooting his girlfriend in the face, then running her over with his SUV. 📍 Safety Harbor, Florida Christopher “Dodge” Smith, 40, shot his girlfriend, Jessica Antolini, 30, during an argument outside a bar on October 13. He then ran her over as he fled the scene with his 5-year-old daughter and the family dog inside his SUV. Witnesses called 911 and deputies later arrested Smith. His daughter and the dog were found unharmed. His five-year-old daughter survived the ordeal unharmed. Jessica Antolini did not.

🚨 CHAINSAW MASSACRE: An Alabama man is accused of decapitating his 85-year-old grandmother and 65-year-old aunt inside their home. Thomas Steele, 47, faces two counts of capital murder after police discovered Dora Boone (Not Pictured), 85, and Christy Deloach, 65, dead inside their Mobile residence on October 12. According to court documents, both women had been decapitated with a chainsaw. What makes this case even more disturbing is what happened before the killings. Roughly two and a half hours earlier, Deloach had called 911 seeking help with Steele’s unusual behavior. “He’s calm. He’s not violent,” she told dispatchers. Deloach reportedly said Steele had stopped taking medication and had been giving away his belongings. She declined an ambulance and the dispatcher provided the police department’s phone number. Hours later, both women were found dead, and Steele was detained at the scene. During his first court appearance, Steele reportedly said “Kill him” after a public defender was appointed. A judge denied him bond and ordered a mental competency evaluation. The 911 call raises an important unanswered question: what happened between Deloach’s request for help and the discovery of the two victims? Steele remains jailed without bond.
