This is exactly why people like Lupita still find it hard to get roles in Hollywood even though she’s an OSCAR-WINNING ACTRESS

I like how some characters can become continuously more powerful such a Hulk but Carol who isn’t that strong in the grand scheme gets the nerf stick again and people swear up and down it’s interesting (it’s not)

Chip Zdarksy talks about Captain Marvel’s new status quo in his upcoming Avengers run: “The Carol stuff has been fun. Sometimes these characters do become too powerful, but there’s something really interesting about taking away her ability to fly. She’s Air Force, flying is second nature to her. It’s a very different kind of feeling for her. Especially being on the Avengers, a team that she normally leads. You know in a diminished state, what does that mean for Carol and how does she rise in those circumstances?”

Marvel be like: “We want our own Wonder Woman” Also Marvel: *Pushes Carol Danvers hard but then cancels her current run and gives her the worst writing in all of humanity Marvel afterwards: “How come we don’t have our own Wonder Woman” The process repeats afterwards
