She doesn't run from the dark, she becomes it.
Starts half flesh, half skull, half pumpkin and half flame. A skull and a pumpkin fighting for the same crown. She walks with her ghosts beside her, one past, one fire.
With every step, the skull burns away. The past dissolves into smoke. The flame takes over.
By the end, she doesn't wear the pumpkin. She is the pumpkin queen.
Great transformation. No more halves. Just power. Happy Halloween 🎃

Scene 2: The Packages.
THE BOSS BRIEFCASE
It's not leather.
It hasn't been leather for a hundred years. It's skin, tanned, stitched, embossed with the same gold pattern as his coat. The handle is cold, even in a room where temperature doesn't exist.
There's no lock. There doesn't need to be. No one steals from The Boss, not even in the afterlife.
Inside is perfect. Not a pile like The Enforcer's. Not a shrine like The Banker's.
Bottom layer: Gold bars, stamped. The years he took whole blocks without firing a shot. Each bar laid North to South, like coffins.
Middle layer: Jewels sorted by sin, not size. Rubies for blood debts. Emeralds for land stolen. Diamonds for the lies that stuck. All clean. All accounted for.
Top layer: One single feather. Identical to the one in his hat, but white. The one the crow left on his chest the night he died. He never sold it. Never counted it. It's the only thing in the case that isn't worth anything.
That's why he keeps it on top.
When he opens it, the candlelight doesn't just reflect, it obeys. It bends toward the case, like it remembers who he was.
He opens it first to remind the other two: This isn't treasure.
This is territory. And even in death, territory still matters.
The case is open. The meeting can begin.

Scene 1: Introduction.
THE ENFORCER (Open Ribcage)
You can see right through him.
That's not a wound. That's the point.
He was the one they sent when the numbers didn't work and the suits didn't scare you anymore. No gun. He didn't need one. He would just open his jacket, and you would see what was left of the last guy who said no.
In life, his chest was closed. He kept everything in. All the hits, all the bodies, all the nights he couldn't sleep. It built up like pressure.
When he died, he took three bullets that should have killed a regular man, it finally blew open. Ribs splayed like a cage with the door busted off.
Now in the afterlife, he doesn't have to hide it. You can see straight through to the other side of the room. There's nothing inside but smoke and the faint glow of that candle reflecting off gold.
His briefcase is the messiest. Gold thrown in, jewels tangled, some spilling over. He was never good at counting. He was good at collecting.
He's the only one who laughs at the table. No sound, just shoulders shaking, teeth clacking. Because he gets the joke now.
He spent his whole life making sure no one could get to their heart.
And he was the one who never had one to protect.
The Boss gives the order.
The Banker makes it legal.
The Enforcer makes sure you feel it in your chest.
And his chest? Still open. Still empty. Still waiting to be filled with something that isn't gold tonight.

THE BANKER (Bow Tie)

Scene 1: Introduction.
THE BANKER (Bow Tie)
He was the one who made it all look legit.
Pressed shirt. Clean hands. Bow tie tied so tight you couldn't see where it started and where his neck ended. In life, he never raised his voice. He didn't have to. He raised interest rates😁
Top Hat broke the knees. Banker broke the numbers.
He kept two ledgers, one for the law, one for the truth. The one for the truth was written in gold ink. You could only read it by candlelight. Which is why, even now, he sits closest to the flame.
His briefcase is the heaviest. Not because he has more gold. Because he kept the receipts. Every coin, every jewel, every soul he turned into a transaction. He polishes them. Counts them. Again and again. Like prayer beads for a man who forgot how to pray.
He doesn't look at the others when they open their cases. He looks at the gold.
Because in life, he told everyone: "It's just business."
In death, he finally realized, business was the only thing he ever loved. And it didn't love him back.
So he sits there, bow tie perfect, smile skeletal, waiting for a market that will never open again😭
The Banker still believes the numbers will save him.
And tonight? That's why his case will never close.

Scene 1: Introduction.
THE BOSS (Top Hat/Feather)
They call him The Boss because he died first.
Not the oldest. The first to understand the game was rigged, so he stopped playing by the rules.
The top hat? He stole it off a preacher in his life before death. Said, "If I'm going to hell, I'm going dressed better than the man sending me there." Had it embroidered in gold, every swirl is a debt someone owed him, every flicks is a town he bought.
The feather? That's from a crow that sat on his coffin for three days and wouldn't leave. He kept it. Said it was the only loyal thing he ever owned.
He never speaks at the table. He just opens his briefcase first. Gold stacked neat, jewels sorted by size. Perfect order. Because in life, chaos made him nervous. In death, he controls what little he can.
He smokes, but there's no cigarette. Just smoke from nowhere, curling around that feather, making the gold sparkle a little less.
The other two always wait for him, because in The Afterlife, Bow Tie may count the money, Ribcage may carry the weight. But Top Hat decides if the case stays open.
And tonight? It's staying open.

Scene 6: The Party.
THE BURN PARTY
They celebrate the same night every year. The night they died.
But they celebrate tonight after the burn.
The table is set different. No briefcases.
The Boss brings out three glass cups. They are not fancy. They are the ones from the bar they used to own, thick bottoms, chipped rims, stained from whiskey that was never that good.
He pours. From where? There's no bottle. He just tips his hand and something dark and gold fills them. It’s not whiskey. It’s melted candle. It’s Mint render. It’s the only thing they can drink here that doesn’t burn.
The Banker picks his up, like it's a contract. He always says the same thing:
"To the books we kept."
The Enforcer picks his up with one big hand and it looks tiny. He never says anything at first. He just looks at the liquid and through his ribs you can see it glow.
The Boss stands. Top Hat off for the only time all year. Feather flat. He raises his glass highest.
"To the boys who were going to own this town."
They drink to celebrate the Burn Party.
And for exactly one sip, they are alive again.
The Banker's eyes stop leaking ink.
The Enforcer's ribs close up, whole chest, no hole, heart beating loud enough to rattle the cups. The Boss's feather turns white again.
You can hear the bar downstairs — alive — piano, laughter, a fight about to start.
Then the cups are empty.
The ribs open.
The ink comes back.
The feather turns black.
The three glass cups crack, all at the same time, in the exact same place on the rim.
They put them back down. They will be whole again next year.
Their briefcases are waiting under the table.
It's party time. They celebrate The Burn tonight.
The End.

Scene 5: The Burn.
THE BURN
They counted gold for centuries.
Three bosses. Three briefcases. Bars, diamonds, pearls — wealth that outlived kingdoms.
But in The Afterlife, gold doesn't save you.
The fireplace roars.
Wood crack, crack and crack.
Embers rise like lost souls. Sparks bite the dark. Smoke coils around their tailored suits as the fire grows hungry.
They open the briefcases one last time. Not to count. To offer.
Gold glittering, then glowing, then sinking into flame.
The crackle turns to a roar. The treasure that defined their lives becomes light, heat, ash — a final transaction.
This is not destruction. This is the burn. The release. The proof that even billionaires must let go to enter The Afterlife.
Wealth burns and legends rise. At the end, everything burns eventually, what matter most is what they forge from it.

THE MINT
Scene 3: The Mint.
No one in town ever saw it. That's how you knew it was real.
It wasn't a building. It was a mouth.
Underneath the bank, underneath The Banker's bank, three floors down past where the vault should have stopped — there was a room with no doors. You got there by saying the right amount out loud. Not a number, and the wall would open.
Inside, it wasn't hot. A real mint should be hot. This one was cold.
In the middle: a single press. Not made of iron. Made of teeth. Molars the size of tombstones, stacked and turning. And every time it turned, it didn't stamp gold, it bit it into shape.
Because the gold was never mined.
That's what The Banker understood and The Enforcer never did.
You don't find this gold. You render it.
The Boss said, "Now we don't have to rob people. We can make them rob themselves."
That's why their briefcases never run out. That's why the gold still glows even after a hundred years of death. It's still warm from whoever it was taken from.
We do not create value, we extract it. We mint as we want and do whatever we want after the mint.
The candle at their meeting. That wax isn't wax. It's the leftover rendering.
Let The Mint begins tonight.
