Happy with the proposed dividend…but I’m selling at market close and buying back at market open I’ll avoid the income event, and will buy more stock at the newly adjusted price I’ll take a small capital gains loss (as buy price is higher than current), and start afresh.

Well- that worked Also avoided the 15% withholding tax (as a UK citizen)…so managed to buy more that just receiving the dividend

It’s interesting that $BITO has increased its June dividend by 83% If $MSTY follows suit (noting we are more volatile) we’d be looking at dividend closer to $4.30 Will be an interesting few days

To take the dividend or not to take the dividend, that is the question! As a UK based holder of $MSTY, I was thinking on whether there would be a benefit from selling $MSTY on announcement day to buy back on ex dividend day. Taking a dividend triggers an income event… 🧵

But selling creates as Capital gains event Depending on circumstances, it might be better to forgo the dividend and to buy back at a lower price…in essence capturing the dividend gain with buying more shares at a lower rate. 🧵

$BITO has increased their dividend by approx 50% for their May payout If $MSTY do something similar (noting we are more volatile), May’s dividend would be ~$2 NFA

It's a Ponzi Scheme, guys. They are literally just printing money and leveraging debt to create fake IOUs that people think are worth value. Pretty soon, it will be worth nothing. The bubble will burst and the music will stop. It is way over-hyped and oversold. Mark my words, it will all go to zero. Of course, I'm talking about the US dollar.
