Kenya is sleepwalking to a catastrophic rigging of the August 2027 General Election, driven by an Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) that acts as an unaccountable rogue procurement cartel, and a Parliament betraying the public trust bestowed upon them by the People of Kenya due to narrow executive subservience for the benefit of President William Ruto.
Should we get anything short of these proposed amendments as highlighted above and attached to this statement over the next 288 days, Kenyans should be alive to the painful truth, that President Ruto with the AID of Parliament, with the ACQUISCENCE of the IEBC is planning to rig the 2027 General Elections, BUT they MUST be stopped. We cannot wait; we should not wait for him to rig. Anything that we must do now to stop him from rigging, we must start doing.
That is why we shall do the following in the interim:-
❖Introduce the amendment bill that is attached to this statement in both the Senate and the National Assembly.
❖Convene a multi-stakeholder conference in the next fortnight to sensitize them on the need and import for these proposed amendments and other urgent Electoral reforms.
❖Conduct civic education and Citizen Mobilization across the Country effective immediately on the import of this amendment.
❖Conduct civic education and Citizen mobilization on the other five demands of the People’s Coalition on Electoral Reforms including:
a) NO National Tallying Centre for Presidential results
b) Integrity of the Register of Voters
c) Election Technology that meets the Constitutional test
d) Amendment of the Elections Offences Act to hold elections officials personally liable for offences
e) Transparent Recruitment of Elections officials in a manner that meets the Constitutional test.

extremely funny that the guy who ran a campaign promising to disclose SGR contract, not only did not disclose that contract after he entered office, is now threatening his opponents for asking him to disclose a PPP contract lmao
I had no business watching that film that many times.. not mention every other of her films from the 90s

I think the big conundrum is: how do you avoid alienating people while also sitting with the fact that evangelicism exploits the pain, insecurities and social challenges that capitalism has created?

Muted in 2022...opened new account & muted them again. Couldn't take in the verbiage.
Trust @moneyacademyKE at your own peril!
They have been misleading the public about electricity tariffs for a long time. Now they are misleading about the proposal to exempt low-income earners from income tax.
Don't say I didn't warn you.

There is very little awareness on continuous voter registration, relying on mass voter registration is not it. Lines are long, system gets overwhelmed etc. I’m perplexed about the low energy on this front especially by civic actors. iebc.or.ke/uploads/resources…

An elegant yet highly effective infrastructure project in Western Australia demonstrates how simple engineering can drastically curb environmental pollution. In 2018, the City of Kwinana launched a pilot program by installing specialized drainage nets over two major stormwater discharge outlets at the Henley Nature Reserve.
Designed to intercept urban runoff, these heavy-duty mesh nets allow water to pass through freely while trapping solid waste, such as beverage cans, plastic bottles, food packaging, and organic debris, before it can contaminate local ecosystems. Following the initial success, the city expanded the program to five critical locations, reporting in an August 2023 update that the system had successfully collected approximately 8,070 pounds (3,660 kilograms) of literal waste.
The initiative has proven to be both economically viable and logistically practical. The initial deployment of the first two nets cost the municipality roughly A$20,000, a figure that covered the manufacturing, installation, and modification of structural access points to facilitate routine maintenance. To keep the system operating smoothly, municipal crews regularly detach, empty, weigh, and audit the contents of the nets before sending the captured debris to waste processing facilities. Maintenance schedules are dynamically adjusted based on weather conditions, with cleanings becoming far more frequent during heavy rainfall when increased street runoff carries larger volumes of trash through the storm drains.
It is important to note that these drainage nets are specifically designed for physical waste interception rather than chemical water treatment or sewage filtration. By capturing solid litter directly at the source of emission—the stormwater outlets—the system prevents debris from scattering across expansive public parks, wetlands, and nature reserves. This centralized containment strategy makes the physical retrieval of trash significantly more efficient and cost-effective than attempting to collect dispersed pollution after it has already escaped into the wild, offering a scalable blueprint for urban conservation.

A day later, Kenya's foreign affairs secretary has denied that his government has endorsed Nusseibeh. A communications fiasco, or strategic ambiguity? The Kenyan government's close links to the UAE are well known.
Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, H.E. Dr. @MusaliaMudavadi has on behalf of Kenya welcomed Lana Nusseibeh’s, candidature for Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN).
Maybe he has used the funds to sound proof the homes that neighbor his noisemaking establishment
