Today I learned about the sad fate of Jessica Martel, who was murdered by her husband. The story is sad, but she inspired work in Morinville to build a facility for men and women. We gathered to raise money for the organization. Minister Dale Nally is the local supportive MLA.

When students have access to the classrooms they need, they thrive!
This week I joined Minister @demetriosnAB to announce that Budget 2025 funds 14 new school projects in Edmonton and surrounding communities, creating 16,000 new and updated student spaces.
🏗️ 36 school projects are already underway in Edmonton & area
🏫 41 new projects across the province = 38,500 new & renovated spaces
📢132 active school projects across Alberta
We’re working hard to turn permits into progress and get students into well-built schools ASAP!

Thank you @ABDanielleSmith and @NateHornerAB for acting on St. Albert's 2023 #ABMunis resolution to lower interest rates on provincial loans to municipalities - this will give munis more flexibility to build the infrastructure needed to support our growing province.
