Thrilled to see this published! I really enjoyed working on this project and learned a lot from researching it. Thanks to the editors at @NwULRev for their work in bringing the article to print.
In “Originalism’s General-Law Turn,” Profs. @NinaVarsava (@WisconsinLaw) & @BWatson_theory (@UIllinoisLaw) argue that general law depended on morality, so identifying constitutional law grounded in general law requires applied moral reasoning. (1/2).

Many thanks to our speakers, Ken Ehrenberg, Eline Gerritsen and Claudio Michelon, for their excellent presentations, and to the audience for such a lively discussion that kept pushing the debate forward
Very much looking forward to presenting my ongoing postdoctoral research (which is also a book project) on transnational legal and political theory with the focus on political diasporas in London next March in Spring 2027! @GlobalTheoryLDN @SurreyCentreLP

Looking forward to present some preliminary ideas of my research project at Michigan Law. Eliminativist pictures in Jurisprudence (anti-positivist and positivist, old and new ones) encounter a similar challenge. I will discuss this issue and propose potential solutions.
