Labour are ending the use of bee killing chemicals in farming, as promised - fab news. One teaspoon of Neonics can kill 1.25 billion bees! An end to the Badger cull next pls & proper enforcement of the Fox hunting ban… it's a bit like Xmas…:) bit.ly/3Wfwmdj

Clearly I was talking about the power to make peers and the three Starmer has appointed who will now be peers. I was not talking about all the MPs. Some are experts and many have been shadowing longer than the ministers they shadowed. But they may or may not be experts.
The Prime Minister has the power to appoint anyone as a Minister, first making them a peer if need be. Some have used that power to appoint friends, cronies, donors, even relatives. Starmer has used it to appoint people who are experts in their field @10DowningStreet

Reform UK’s manifesto says postal votes should be banned except for elderly and infirm. Today there are no images of Nigel Farage walking into the polling station because… he was registered to vote by post.

Not again! I have NOT given my permission to be used in political adverts. This is NOT an endorsement by me in any way. I maintain strict party neutrality and am unhappy at the weaponizing of my reputation in this way. While this isn't as bad as the first terrible representation – which said it this about tax - there's still a misdirection. As I’ve already stated, in that private conversation I was referring to Labour hoping to make a positive change I’ve been campaigning for, but it didn’t want to lock it in the manifesto as it can’t promise to deliver. NO party’s manifesto tells the full story. ALL parties have things they hope to do but that aren’t in manifestos – as they can’t guarantee to deliver. The idea that Labour is an outlier for that is preposterous.
Labour's manifesto doesn't tell you the full story. 14 hours to stop the Labour supermajority.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Martin Lewis has confirmed that this is nothing to do with Labours tax plans. Rishi Sunak released this weeks ago claiming it related directly to ‘hidden tax rises’. Martin Lewis publicly told the Tories this is untrue, it’s nothing to do with tax and not to use this. independent.co.uk/news/uk/labour…

This polls has the Conservatives winning in Clacton, just ahead of Reform. Labour voters in this seat could keep Farage out of Parliament if they voted tactically.
🚨 Our final MRP poll of the election campaign indicates that Labour are on course for a record-breaking 444 seats. Seat counts Labour: 444 (-6 since last week) Conservative: 108 (-2) Lib Dem: 57 (+7) SNP: 15 (-1) Reform: 2 (+1) Plaid: 2 (-) Green: 1 (-) focaldata.com/blog/focaldata…

It's like a jigsaw piece that's been staring you in the face for years but you somehow couldn't quite find...
🤯 when a Conservative cabinet decided the party was more important than the country’s well-being. Astonishing moment from @ShippersUnbound account of May’s Brexit travails in Spring 2019. (Fall Out, p.485)

Replying to @Mike_Fabricant
He’s actually mentioned things like disused garages, things that are still classed as green belt, areas where disused previously used land, classed as green belt has just been left there, it isn’t building over green luscious fields.

Just heard someone on the radio from Reform saying there's no room for racists in the party. Is there now a waiting list?

RUK leader demanded time on BBC. Got it with appearance on question time. Didn’t like hostile audience. Now refuses to go on flagship Laura Kuenssberg show with other party leaders. With no sense of irony, he accuses BBC of being a ‘political actor’. Five days to go!

So @Nigel_Farage has decided to simply ignore this. Leslie Lilley remains a Reform party candidate and no action has been taken. Reform are happy to have a man in their ranks who says: He would "slaughter migrants then have their family taken out" Please don't let this pass.

Was she a Labour voter when she was a Tory councillor?
Amanda says “I have always voted Labour, but for the first time in my life I will be voting for Greg Hands.” “I have decided to vote with my heart and for the local community where I live.” #VoteGregHands
