ALT Dr. Bob (his preferred nickname with students) developed the SPA (Student Personnel Assistantship) Program and served as the director for 20 years. He was a fierce advocate for students, which facilitated the naming of the Bob Rodgers Outstanding Graduate Student Award in his honor. Those who knew him and learned from him likely remember his love of leadership assessments (MBTI!), his group-oriented approach to teaching, and his kind and generous spirit. Dr. Bob will be deeply missed and his legacy will continue to make a positive impact on the HESA community and future students for many years to come. The visitation is set for this Friday, August 19 from 4-6 p.m. in Gahanna, Ohio. Details can be found in the obituary.
