Bardstown cop's wife is still behind bars.
She has NOT bonded out.
Lauren Winans, 31, is charged with 2 counts of 1st degree sodomy, 1st degree incest, and 1st degree sexual abause.
The alleged victim is a family member under the age of 12.
Her arraignment is scheduled for Nov 5.
Her husband, Andy Winans, is a Bardstown police officer, and former Nelson County deputy.
But there's more. Of course.
Updated photos circulating online show the couple posing on a Nelson County Sheriff's vehicle with blue lights on.
The sheriff's office called the conduct "completely inappropriate" and says Andy Winans was disciplined at the time.
He resigned from the Nelson County Sheriff's department in early 2026 and Bardstown PD hasn't commented.

If you're not a true Southron, descended from a long line of the same, you probably wouldn't guess that we're more sympathetic to the plight of American Blacks than any African American studies activist ally could ever imagine being because we understand things as they are.
If you don't feel some sense of pity toward every stratum of Black society I don't know what to tell you. It's always been difficult to sort out how such different peoples can share a society that permits everyone to move and act so freely.
One man's hideaway is another's land of opportunity and I shudder to imagine what anxieties smashing a dozen types each of fifty different peoples together will produce. I honestly feel bad for all of us.
