2025 Film Recap – my Favorites & more!

For my money, 2025 was an excellent year for cinema. In fact, I’d argue that this was the most complete year for movies since 2019, before the pandemic. To be clear, I don’t think there…

That “liberals are the new racists” commercial is one of the worst things I’ve ever seen. It’s intentionally propagating and playing into white supremacy by attempting to rile up certain types. What a joke this country has become.

Making fun of the decor at Cheesecake Factory was elitist. Bragging that the crowd wouldn't be able to afford the food at his private club is, what exactly?

Trump: You'll be my guest at Mar a Lago. The problem is that for $5,000, the most you'll be able to buy is a hamburger and maybe a small dessert. I'm not even sure you could buy that. That's not a good place if you're price conscious

Exactly this. They have no policy of their own, so they continue to fabricate false villains to galvanize their easily manipulated base. It’s fascism 101. And so many continue to fall for it.

Republicans are literally voting on no boys in girls sports, no clandestine transgender surgeries in schools, no Socialism, no Communism, no Marxism, and no Sharia Law. And none of these things are happening.

Breeder is really darn good. Unsettling and darkly hilarious, effective at tone and building dread, with impressive direction and cinematography. Dot-Marie Jones is absolutely terrifying. What a performance! A strong, delightfully deranged debut by Alex Goyette.
