two weeks ago I wrote that our launch delay cost us 2 months.
last Friday evening we opened the doors, invite only. in the first week the team shipped 745 changes, 428 of them bug fixes.
launching on a Friday evening. so far it was brave, not stupid🫡

if your platform is your product, and you win on tech, product, UX and UI, you don't need affiliates.
maybe once, to bring a player in. after that, your job is to make them stay.
that's what we're building at @Swoobz_official :

Nice numbers, but the part I’m most proud of is what sits underneath them.

While we are working like crazy towards the full launch of Swoobz, we are also working towards our transparent vision moving forward.
While the standard in the iGaming industry is hiding information, need for third-party tools to do verifications & due diligence, we are focussing on transparency.
We believe building towards a more sustainable future and direction in the iGaming industry will start at creating mutual trust, and that starts with numbers. We will make sure that our users can verify their outcomes. Ranging from covering their bets to paying out our partners, to giving you the tools to check in on your own statistics. It's part of our movement going from black-box to glass-box.
Our current beta is showing some great numbers:

We are just getting started.

One thing we’re building into Swoobz from day one: transparency shouldn’t require trust.
RTP is one of the hottest topics in iGaming right now. Most casinos ask you to trust the number on a webpage.
We don’t.
At Swoobz you’ll be able to verify it yourself.
You’ll see both the theoretical RTP and the realized RTP from actual gameplay, so you can compare the expected return with what has actually happened over time.
Every outcome is verifiable. Every settlement is on-chain. Every calculation is open source.
The architecture is designed so fairness isn’t something we promise, it’s something anyone can independently verify.

To highlight onto this aspect. Especially since it’s an hot topic now: we will be transparent about the RTP, and it is built into the architecture rather than promised. Transparent RTP for us means you can check the numbers yourself instead of taking our word.
You get two numbers, not one. The theoretical RTP comes straight from the constants that decide outcomes, and the realized RTP is computed from actual settled play, shown next to the games so you can watch the real ratio over time.
The calculations are open source. You take your round, your seed and the revealed server seed and recompute the exact outcome yourself. And you contribute your own seed to every round.
The old trick is that the house picks the server seed and grinds a favorable one before committing. Here the outcome depends on both seeds, and we commit ours before we ever see yours, so there is nothing to grind and no way to steer it.
Settlement will of course be on-chain, the code is currently being audited. So fairness is enforced by the chain rather than promised by us. So you can run the math yourselves.
Owning mistakes publicly isn’t easy.
But if we’re serious about making crypto betting more trustworthy, this should become the standard, not the exception.
