Sudanās hunger crisis is worsening, with around 20 million Sudanese at risk of hunger, as funding for humanitarian operations falls while the needs of millions continue to grow.
The World Food Programme said it had received around $206 million for its operations in Sudan since the beginning of the year, compared with $645 million last year, and needs another $300 million to maintain its current operations.
In parts of North Darfur, food rations for displaced people have been reduced to supplies lasting just two weeks instead of a full month, while in El-Obeid, aid is now limited to newly arrived displaced people as displacement continues to grow.

More than six families remain trapped under the debris. Rescue teams are desperately trying to reach them in extremely difficult conditions.
