New signing Igor Thiago has successfully undergone knee surgery that will keep the striker out until the back end of the year. The Brazilian suffered a meniscus injury during the Bees’ recent victory over AFC Wimbledon. Thiago arrived from Jupiler Pro League side Club Brugge for a fee of around £31m earlier this month, having scored eighteen goals in 34 league appearances last term.
