Rod B

There are lots of different ways to chip/pitch but the way I have found the most consistency is to use very little hands and let the body dictate the distance. I get the most consistent low point control and ball contact this way. Similar to Steve stricker or Jason Day Look at the lack of wrist hinge in my backswing at the top. That decreases the acceleration that my hands will provide which is what I mean by the body dictating distance. If you want to hit some specialty shots like the mega flop, hand use is needed but for most shots, this is better for me. I preset the hands slightly forward at address and just try to hold that angle the entire time with a lot of slow (feeling) and constant body turn
