It's been a whole year since devastating earthquakes hit north & west #Syria. Families are still suffering the consequences, including Nisreen’s who has not received @WFP food assistance e-voucher this year amidst a historical funding crunch. A ”quake” on top of a quake.

Countless faces still bear the pain of the #earthquake. 📣 One year has passed and the situation in #Syria continues to rapidly deteriorate while the funding remains historically low. This trend must be urgently reversed.

Lamis and Ranya are best friends living in a displacement camp in #Syria. The ongoing conflict in the country has left their families struggling and without basic needs. The girls travel together up a difficult road to retrieve firewood to heat their tents and to cook with.

We support those affected by the devastating earthquake in Türkiye and Syria. To mobilise funds, the Swedish EU Presidency has taken the initiative to host a donors' conference in Brussels on March 16, together with the Commission and in coordination with the Turkish authorities.
