Congratulations 🎊
I am deeply humbled and grateful to the people of Africa who voted for me, enabling me to emerge 2nd Runner-Up in the Unstoppable Minister African Award. Thank you for your confidence, support and recognition.
First and foremost, I give all the glory and honour to Almighty God.
I am reminded of John the Baptist, who, despite his great calling and influence, never sought personal glory. He understood that his mission was to prepare the way for Jesus Christ. In John 3:30, he declared:
“He must increase, but I must decrease.”
This scripture is a powerful reminder that leadership is not about personal glory, but about service, humility and giving credit where it is due.
Just like John the Baptist, I do not want to take credit for what God has enabled me to accomplish. I am only an instrument in God’s hands.
I therefore give special credit to my mentor and Chairman, General @mkainerugaba Museveni , for his guidance, inspiration, mentorship and belief in service to our country.
I also recognise and give credit to His Excellency President @KagutaMuseveni , whose leadership and trust have given me the opportunity to serve our country and contribute to the transformation of our communities.
To the people of Uganda, my colleagues in government, the Ministry of Local Government, our local government leaders and all those working tirelessly at the grassroots, this recognition belongs to you too.
As Minister of Local Government, my commitment remains to fight corruption, protect public resources and improve service delivery. We must ensure that every cent sent to our villages, parishes, sub-counties, towns and districts is put to good use. Public resources must translate into better services and improved livelihoods for our people.
This recognition is not a reason to slow down, but a greater responsibility to serve.
The glory belongs to God, the opportunity is a privilege, and the responsibility is to serve the people.
Thank you, Africa! Thank you, Uganda .
May God bless Africa and Uganda.

@RonnieMcVex imagines what Ugandans would tell Angel Gabriel at heaven’s gates! From Bebecool to Apass, the introductions alone might need a whole day.
What would YOU say to get in?

Our eye care team has travelled over 600 kilometres to West Nile, driven by one purpose, bringing quality specialist eye care closer to those who need it most.
This week, we are at Kuluva Church of Uganda Hospital, Arua, with support from CBM, delivering life-changing eye care to underserved communities.
Day One is already making a difference, with 41 patients benefiting from cataract surgery, taking their first steps towards clearer vision and renewed independence.
Our ambition is bold, to provide cataract surgery to 200 patients during this camp, restoring sight, dignity, and hope to individuals and families who have endured the burden of avoidable blindness.
Inspired by our vision from John 10:10, we believe that everyone deserves life in its fullness. We are honoured to be a vehicle of hope to the beautiful West Nile region and its incredible people.
Because sight is precious, access matters, and every restored sight opens a new chapter of possibility.
Together, we are changing lives, one eye at a time.

Very unfair 😂
Medical Officers looking through the advertised job positions by the @MinofHealthUG 🥶🙌🏿
We need to differentiate between PSU the association and The Pharmaceutical Council which is a body of government
✅
You need to read the law. Professional programmes are accredited by the national council for higher education ( NCHE) in collaboration with the professional bodies. Professional bodies have a right to even decide on enrolment numbers that are put in the accreditation letter and monitored by both the professional body and the NCHE. He is should comply with requirements of professional bodies otherwise we shall have anarchy.

What began as a small swelling on Mathias’s thigh soon turned into a life-altering journey.
During the strict restrictions of the COVID-19 lockdown, limited resources and movement barriers meant his family had to rely on local remedies.
With time, the infection worsened into Chronic Osteomyelitis causing severe pain, mobility loss in his knee, and ultimately forcing Mathias to drop out of school.
His path toward healing took a hopeful turn in September 2026. Through the dedicated outreach of @OURSProgram , supported by @cbmWorldwide and in partnership with #WisdomTrainingCentre Ibanda, Mathias was identified, evaluated, and provided with emergency surgical intervention.
Thanks to comprehensive post-surgical care and intensive rehabilitation, Mathias has regained his mobility and independence.
Today, he is back home, re-engaged with his community, and looking ahead to a future full of promise.
Mathias’s story is a powerful reminder that equitable, timely access to surgical care and rehabilitation is not just healthcare, it is a restoration of hope and dignity. 💙
