RJ Smith should be a really fun player for La Salle and A10 fans to watch. To say he’s undersized is an understatement. Might be the smallest guard I’ve seen in this conference in a long time but he has a very good skillset offensively.
Neumann is a D3 basketball team so have to take this with a grain of salt. With the said, La Salle tempo has been high paced and they can score in bunches multiple ways.
With SJU back in the good graces of Martelli, someone really needs to get him and Giannini on a pod together to talk A10 hoops both old and new. Would be electric!

I am very rarely at a loss for words, but the outpouring of support, love, and kindness today and over the course of my 34 years at @saintjosephs has left me in awe. I look forward to celebrating with friends and family at a game (will not be the VCU game!) this season.
Saint Joseph's University Vice President and Director of Athletics Ashwin Puri announced today that Phil Martelli, the winningest coach in Saint Joseph’s men’s basketball history, will be enshrined in the Saint Joseph's Athletic Hall of Fame as the lone member of the Class of 2027, in an induction ceremony later this year. #THWND

What a great press release to receive.
Saint Joseph’s is finally inducting Phil Martelli into its Athletics Hall of Fame
Rich and Dennis tell it like it is when it comes to Villanova’s exit of the Big 5. Really good listen as always.

An absolute must-read interview with Temple AD Arthur Johnson regarding Kevin Willard’s Big 5 presser
-Villanova would not budge on their NET proposal to rank based on previous season final rankings, not even a discussion. Included even less games than the existing condensed format
-Villanova also demanded merit based revenue distribution from the triple header
-If the other schools were signed off on the Villanova proposal, they easily would’ve left Temple out. All ADs agreed with Johnson, against Villanova
Complete embarrassment for @KevinWillard and @NovaMBB to sit on that podium and spew disingenuous BS about the Big 5
Temple AD Arthur Johnson didn’t know he wields as much power in Big 5 circles as Kevin Willard seems to think. "I didn't realize I had that kind of power," says Johnson. "Or call it influence. I didn't know I had become an influencer." 247sports.com/college/temple…
So SLU just got even better and should be the favorite to win the A10. I still don’t follow how they can get around the roster limit though.

A column on Kevin Willard, who embarrassed himself and #Villanova:

One thing being overlooked is how good Anthony Finkley was in A10 play as a sophomore, especially in the second half of conference play. His underlying analytics were on par with Des Watson and Zed Key during that period. If he can play at that level, it’ll be huge for La Salle.
Last thing I’ll say about the Big 5: Nova’s proposed format was clearly not in good faith. It is what it is at this point. Willard has shown a lack of character and respect across the board. Time to move on and focus on the season. Hopefully, some well deserved payback is coming.
This!
I don’t want to pile on the guy given today’s news, or speak out of line for a man’s character, but does Kevin Williard even care about charity? Does he care about anyone beating cancer?
His absence from today’s Coaches vs. Cancer preseason luncheon is louder than any article or press conference possible.
Who cares about some basketball games if at the end of the day we forget what’s really important?

La Salle coach Darris Nichols on Villanova exiting the Big 5's current format:
"You can focus on change, but the college landscape is changing every day at a fast pace. So, you know, I’m more excited about the teams that still want to be a part of this.”
