Outside of Web3, I have my own company. For about 6 years, Iโve been running Kindness Assemblies for elementary schools across the USA (would LOVE to do international).
Iโll be honest, there are times where I want to give it up. QUIT! โIโm too old for thisโ or โThis is A LOT of workโ repeatedly go through my head on occasion.
But then I see more shootings like the recent one in Tennessee and my heart drops. Iโve done the research and there are VERY little social emotional / life skills / character development / kindness programs out thereโฆ and as far as I know, Iโm the only one who does what I do in the way that I do it. Sure thereโs BMX and Dance Troop assemblies, but whereโs the compassion education? Schools sign-on to social emotional curriculums all the time but sadly, itโs not enough.
I know that me alone isnโt enough either, but itโs SOMETHING. So itโs days like this that I canโt give up. I canโt let my ability to teach kindness slip through the cracks. I have to keep going.
Iโm sorry if this sounds like a โself-absorbed pump me up letterโ to myselfโฆ I guess in a way, it is. But the other side of that coin stands a man who continually re-discovers his purpose and is proud of the work he does.
If you or anyone you know has been through such a tragedy, Iโm SO sorry and I swear Iโm doing all that I can.

In #crypto we consider it a failure if theres an inflation bug where someone with admin keys can create as many coins as they want and sell it on market. This would be considered a "rugpull".
In legacy #finance thats what the #FederalReserve does constantly yet most people think it's okay and normal to have money that goes down in value every year.
