Pretty disappointed that @ProfEmilyOster would choose to lend her credibility to prediction markets (which are, in practice, sportsbooks with a side of wagering on elections and oil futures), particularly when one considers the harm they are bringing to kids and parents.
It would be amazing and justice served if someone got cooked for this.

Anyone else following the Macron's v. Candace Owens saga in Delaware?
This past Tuesday a Delaware judge narrowed the Macrons’ defamation case against Candace Owens because she resides in Tennessee not Delaware.

No. It does not. But it does mean the Macrons need to file *another* case if they want to expose Candace to personal liability.
Therefore, as far as the Delaware case goes, the ruling protects Owens’ personal assets should a ruling come down but the Macron's may continue their case against the podcaster’s businesses.

Just wish that main stream media (namecheck) NYT, WSJ, BBC, WaPo, CNN could have the financial structure that allowed it to publish as well(*) as the Harvard Crimson & many other University student papers do.
