1) I had struggles with my own mental health in 2022. I was comfortable talking about it and asking for help - but I understand why many aren’t. I never felt the impact of stigma, but I can tell you I did wonder what others were thinking. It was something I thought about.
2) I know how lucky I was to have an incredible social network and an employer that supported me - and I appreciate how much more difficult things would have been without both. I had a lot working in my favour that many won’t have.

Wow!! 100+ !! It’s one of those milestones that you feel kind of conflicted ‘celebrating’ ... but this speaks to both the scope of the opioid crisis and the amazing work of our front line officers.
Over 100 people have saved from overdoses since @TorontoPolice began carrying Naloxone in 2018. Two recent cases highlight the need tpsnews.ca/stories/2021/05/t…

I’m trying to think of something to add to this as I’m quote tweeting it ... but this is so well said.

This is great! PC Andy Rosbrook made a compilation of all of this year’s ‘plungers’ from our office. Probably a few extra sniffles here and there but very much worth it. We raised $2700 for Special Olympics. (TPS raised over $72,000 in total) Very proud of my team!
