Kurumi is the symbol of long degeneracy. @izebel_eth describes long degeneracy as the belief that the world only gets more financialized, speculative, lonely, tribal and weird. i agree, and i think kurumi fits that world almost perfectly. the normal path feels slower. assets get further away, job security feels worse, ai keeps speeding everything up and ppl start looking for ways to compress years of progress into one outcome. why spend years moving one step at a time when the right trade can completely change ur trajectory? thats the psychology kurumi represents. the belief that one trade can change ur life, the euphoria when it works, the desperation to make it back when it doesn’t, sizing up, roundtripping, trying again. every trader relates to her 😭 and thats probably the most important part. her panels already get used for wins, losses, liquidations, revenge trades, roundtrips etc because they actually describe our life. relatability creates belonging. $NEET works because ppl dont just laugh at the meme, they self insert into it. the meme becomes a way for ppl with the same lifestyle to recognize each other. Milady took that even further. it stopped being just an image and became an identity, a tribe of extremely online ppl using the same character/aesthetic to recognize their own. thats the potential i see in kurumi. not just an anime character traders like, but the character that represents the terminally online trader. and the timing is perfect. oct 1 she gets pushed globally through crunchyroll while japan gets the anime across basically every major streaming platform. someone watches kurumi staring at a catastrophic position and thinks “this is literally me”, posts the scene, sees traders already using her everywhere and eventually finds an entire community built around the same character. then realizes there’s literally a $Kurumi coin. japan already has a huge retail fx culture + an existing memecoin crowd, and now they’re getting an anime built around speculation itself. even bloomberg was already talking about kurumi as a possible new face of japanese retail fx, replacing the old “mrs watanabe” archetype. before the anime even aired. crypto basically gives all the ppl who see themselves in kurumi something to gather around. and now every week brings new scenes, memes, reactions and ppl into that culture right as risk appetite is coming back. @niulai_on_bnb showed an animated cultural moment can become a 100m+ coin once crypto adopts it. 888m is the bigger bet. kurumi escaping the anime entirely and becoming the symbol for this generation of ppl trying to change their life through a screen. we are all kurumi. long degeneracy, long $Kurumi

I remember when @theunipcs got his first public token on FOMO, $WORLDCUP. It only tapped around $15M MC and people laughed at him for his “delusional” play. Sometimes conviction looks delusional before it works. Now I see the same kind of conviction with the $Kurumi

$KURUMI IS A $888M NARRATIVE. sounds ridiculous. but hear me out. every cycle traders go through the same emotions. hope. fear. greed. euphoria. regret. the charts change. the emotions don’t. kurumi is basically the personification of being a trader. getting liquidated. watching your pnl disappear. trying to make it all back. celebrating a win just to get humbled on the next trade. every trader can look at her and see themselves. she isn’t a meme being forced into trading culture. she IS trading culture. and after months of accumulating around 100-300k, $KURUMI is still thriving. right at the beginning of the bull market 👀 even the mangaka behind kurumi publicly holds a position. now the biggest catalyst hasn’t even happened yet. FX Fighter Kurumi-chan starts airing in october. an entire anime about trading, leverage, losses and the emotional rollercoaster every trader already lives through. every episode = new reactions, screenshots and memes. the character existed before the coin. the culture existed before the coin. and soon a completely new audience gets introduced to her. $KURUMI doesn’t need to manufacture a narrative. the content writes itself. s-tier.

another rug-shaped experiment from a serial dev’s vibe-coded onchain toy factory. this time @token_works got punked for a Punk. Fake World Assets was supposed to be a cute RWA parody: deposit NFTs with ETH backing, let buyers pay into a pool, Chainlink VRF picks a random NFT position, everyone claps, token emissions do their little dance. then someone read the room better than the room read the contracts. the randomness itself was fine. the state it was applied to was not. once the Chainlink callback became visible, the attacker could see the random result before execution, shift the pool weights with a small state change, and make that same random number point to CryptoPunk #5450. result: one Punk gone, protocol in withdraw-only mode, TokenWorks covering the affected owner for around $66k, and another “we shipped an experimental idea quickly” post-mortem added to the museum. and that museum is the whole point. TokenWorks literally has an archive for this stuff. Top Blaster: a 6-hour PvP token game with a 6.9% sell tax and prize pool mechanics. first winner got 21 ETH. shortly after, TokenWorks was joking about the token being down around 90% from ATH with low users. post-mortem. Cabalcoin: AI-gated sells. you had to submit a “plea” to the AI cabal to sell. sniper grabbed a huge chunk, AI blocked sell attempts, then they eventually called endGame and made it freely tradable. post-mortem. CTO: anyone could take over the token, change ticker/name/image, and earn creator fees. fun mechanic, but their own post-mortem mentions frontend issues, wrong-chain presale misses, fee calc errors, and no delay between takeovers. post-mortem. Ten Thousand Tokens: 10,000 NFTs, each with an embedded ERC20. burn the NFT to launch the token, or keep it unburned to share fees. cool whitepaper energy, messy coordination reality, backlash when the post-mortem landed. post-mortem. PunkStrategy: the survivor bias trophy case. this one actually worked, and credit where due, it was a real hit. TokenWorks bought Punks, sold some, used proceeds for $PNKSTR buybacks and burns. but even there, the mechanics created obvious public signals. buys, burns, sells, premiums, timing. the kind of machine where the best bots and fastest traders always have a cleaner game than the guy buying the chart because “the protocol is cooking.” and now FWA: same genre, bigger toy, real NFTs, real ETH, real Punk, real exploit. this is the part people keep missing. no one is forced to touch these launches. nobody is putting a gun to your wallet and saying “please participate in the next financialized idea from the archive” but the structure is still funny. if it works → genius. if it fails → experiment. if it breaks → post-mortem. if users lose → lesson learned. if users win → marketing. if the token dies → back to the TokenWorkshop. if the mechanism survives → new season, new mint, new fees, new archive entry. Rhynotic is not hiding it. that is what makes it more annoying, not less. it is all fully public, fully onchain, fully documented, fully “you knew what you signed up for” great. but transparency does not magically turn user-funded R&D into charity. TokenWorks is basically a conveyor belt of financial experiments where the market pays for the prototype, the users pay for the edge cases, and the builder gets to keep the brand, the archive, the distribution, the lessons, and the next launch. serial devs figured out the cleanest meta in crypto: ship a mechanism, monetize the curiosity, archive the damage, call it iteration, repeat. genius, honestly. also deeply exhausting.
