I am a Zionist. When people post that they want to kill Zionists, they are saying they want to murder me for believing in the right of Israel to exist as the only Jewish nation on earth.
ADL is now posting about antizionism by name and developing educational content about antizionism by name, but AJC we hear is still afraid to do it. Can you fix that? It's an emergency now. - Sincerely, The Jewish People

If this murderous loser is your hero then we are not the same, and you are an enemy of The Constitution.

The Star Wars prequels are quite brilliant in the Macro - as a bullet-pointed story outline - about how a weak, sclerotic democracy fails to contain an erupting civil war that transitions the same regime into full military despotism, and one sensitive young man's foretold Nietzschean destiny within it. It's thrilling stuff. It fails in the tactical micro - the script, the casting, the characters, the CGI, the raw filmmaking. But a 90s kids movie is also the wrong cultural atmosphere to execute that story. The original Star Wars succeeded because it landed at precisely the right cultural moment. People were sick of the dry 1960s cynicism, and "Star Wars" was the shepherd that ushered in the fun, imaginitive, and optimistic 1980s. The movies would have been much better had they been done post-GWOT. If they landed today, for young zoomer men, made with the same quality and atmosphere of Andor, they would be legendary films that surpass the OT in cultural impact. You can see Lucas is a very intelligent and erudite man who was likely inspired by reading about the Weimar Republic in his writings for episode 1. That's why, despite the movies not being very good overall, they are excellent meme content decades later. The late 90s - early 00s just weren't ready for them. What the hell is a "trade dispute" in a pre-China, pre-Hormuz world? At the time, nobody understood.

Anakin Skywalker is a great character but he is not someone you should want to emulate. He was an overly emotional and possessive man who used those emotions to justify satiating his hunger for power and committed barbaric atrocities in pursuit of that power.

Well stated
Did the younger generation somehow miss the entire point of the Star Wars prequels? Pro tip: the guy who betrays all of his friends, kills a bunch of children, and force chokes his wife is not the hero. Woke Right morons! 😅

If Kamala Harris were a Star Wars character

The force operating in or thru someone does not make them evil. Their choosing to do evil within their choices in it can become evil..
Replying to @TheLaurenChen
The Jedi are evil.

When Elon posts that don't worry about saving and debt, there will be an overly abundant future.. Be hesitant to believe it as framed. For he doesn't when it comes to his businesses

Anakin was manipulated to become a sith lord's bitch. Darkness wanted him leashed on its side. The outfit wasn't just about keeping Vader alive; it was about keeping him a slave, bound to the dark.
The current Anakin discourse seems to be ignoring one detail. Yes, the Jedi let him down but he was manipulated by Palpatine and became a slave to him. The Sith did not offer him any freedom. It's a cautionary tale about discernment and not giving into your anger.

No one should be idealizing Annukin when he decided to go dark and murderous.
murdering children and murdering your wife is bad actually

So many people, including the richest man in the world, have never read Matthew Stover's novelization of "Revenge of the Sith" and it shows...

No, the Jedi were not evil. The ones who went dark were evil. The Sith were evil.
