An exciting first day in #ARUKConf24 at Liverpool! This ECR day would be the best one I’ve joined! Meeting friends and even neighbours after fruitful sessions @Caterina_Felici @SaradeLeo02 @Shereen_Nizari @SophieKLScience
Thank you @ARUKscientist for taking care of ECRs!
Q: Wearable devices can objectively assess sleep and circadian rhythm, but are they acceptable by late-stage, agitated dementia patients?
A: Likely yes, and some interesting factors may influence their compliance. Read our paper in Alzheimer's & Dementia: doi.org/10.1002/alz.13772
It’s the season of the Academy Awards again. Anthony Hopkins won another well-deserved Best Actor Award for his entrancing performance in ‘The Father’, but dementia and the behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD) are by no means entrancing in real life.
Potentially our last Christmas Eve in London - a wonderful matinee @RoyalAlbertHall #RAHChristmas
