This latest destruction of Putin's navy demonstrates that those who believe there's a stalemate in the Ukraine war are wrong! They haven't noticed that over the past 4 months 20% of Russia's Black Sea Fleet has been destroyed. Russia's dominance in the Black Sea is now challenged and the new UK & Norway led Maritime Capability Coalition is helping to ensure Ukraine will win at sea.
Ukraine says it has carried out an air strike on the port town of Feodosia in Crimea. Mykola Oleshchuk, commander of Ukraine's air force said that the attack destroyed a Russian Navy vessel known as the landing Novocherkask ship. Click to read 🔗 trib.al/fQOeojp

Headingley never fails to deliver. Although it won't in 2027. Neither will Old Trafford or Durham. Ashes cricket should always exist north of Trent Bridge.

Had my ceremony earlier today! And mostly it was lovely thanks to the people at @hackneycouncil. They were so welcoming, and made sure multiculturalism and respect was at the heart of it.. proud to have lived in Hackney so many years and become British at the town hall.

Not a good start to the day when ushers at #Sheffield Magistrates' Court tell journalism students they can't make notes because defendants will be giving personal details in court! #openjustice

Thank you to @ChrisMRiches and the @Daily_Express for this excellent coverage of yesterday's hand in @10DowningStreet, calling on the Prime Minister @RishiSunak to urgently review the outdated prescription charges exemption list. @Jeremy_Hunt @SteveBarclay #ReviewTheList

It’s not “a mad right-wing conspiracy theory” to question if a senior civil-servant, who conducted an investigation that ultimately resulted in the resignation of the Prime Minister, joining the opposition party soon after, is appropriate.

Sadly my father, Sir Bernard Ingham, passed away today aged 90 after a short illness. My family would like to thank his nursing home, Tupwood Gate in Caterham, Surrey, and his previous carers when he lived at his home for their wonderful care and support.

Hard to take in that today was my last day teaching at Kingston University. @Kingstonjourno has been my professional home since September 2015, and I feel so lucky that I landed in such an excellent journalism department. (1/3)
