I’m surprised that some congressional Republicans aren’t switching party affiliation and becoming Democrats, as the rule of law will once again be America’s law once the newly elected Congress gets to work. Less guilty Republicans may want to get ahead of this while they can.

BREAKING: “THIS IS MUCH DEEPER THAN ANYONE THINKS!” Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy warns that Republicans' midterm disaster has handed Democrats control of EVERY presidential swing state's governorship – giving them an astronomical advantage heading into 2028! Most of the attention has focused on Democrats taking back the House and Senate, but McCarthy pointed to something potentially even more consequential: Democrats now control a majority of America's governorships for the first time since 2010 – including EVERY major presidential swing state. “What is extraordinary,” McCarthy told Fox News, is not just the House and the Senate – it's the governorships.” Democrats will hold at least 28 governorships, having flipped Republican-held seats in Texas, Ohio, Georgia, Iowa and Nevada. And they'll also control the governor's office in the seven states that could be central to the next presidential contest: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. That matters a lot because governors wield enormous influence over state policy, election administration and the political organizations that help candidates compete statewide. Democrats will enter the next presidential cycle with a powerful network of governors in the very states where presidential campaigns concentrate their resources. What’s more, Democrats have also made sweeping gains in state legislatures, breaking Republican control in states where the GOP had dominated for years. “This went very deep,” McCarthy admitted. “It's going to take time to build back.” There's a rich irony in hearing this from McCarthy, who rushed to Mar-a-Lago to kiss Trump's ring just weeks after the January 6 insurrection, helping restore the disgraced former president's standing. Now he's explaining just how profound the party's electoral losses really are. McCarthy is right about one thing: This victory goes far beyond Washington and Democrats just got a powerful head start on 2028. RIP MAGA.

I’m sure there’s a lesson to be learned here. I’m equally sure that none of Trump’s followers and enablers will learn that lesson.
People like JD Vance and Marco Rubio will never, ever be able to get the stink of Trump off them. It will haunt them for their entire lives.

Republicans just got walloped in the midterms, and they’re already whining that Democrats are going to hold oversight hearings and demand answers from this administration. Yes, that’s going to happen. Did you hear what voters just told you? In the national midterm voter poll, 90% said government corruption was a crucial or major factor in how they voted for Congress. That was the highest of the five issues tested, ahead of the cost of living at 89%, the war in Iran at 74%, immigration enforcement at 73%, and AI and data centers at 56%. Democrats can work on bringing down costs and still call officials to testify, demand records, and follow the money. Congress can walk and chew gum. If your first reaction to losing an election where nine in ten voters said corruption mattered is to complain that someone’s going to look into it, you still haven’t figured out why you lost.

Hey, are you old enough to remember when Elon Musk moved his entire company to the state of Texas, 'cause he wanted to live and work in a red state? Then he spent $500 million to try to keep the state red, and then it turned blue. Good times!

Now that Darline Graham has lost her Senate seat, she can devote all of her time to being Lindsey Graham’s sister, which was the only political experience she had before Trump selected her as his choice for Lindsey’s Senate seat.

I don’t want retribution. I don’t want to get even. I want a reckoning. For everything they stole. For everyone they murdered. For betraying our allies. For trampling on our values. For protecting the Epstein class. For placing oligarchs and mega corporations above the law. For gaslighting the country every day. A dispassionate, merciless reckoning.

I can’t believe this is happening NOW. Way back in 1977, my dad taught me about oligarchs and how they come to power. He was convinced it would happen during my lifetime. I shit you not. And just look at us now. He also told me not to count on Social Security, because given enough time, the oligarchs would steal the money and bankrupt the United States. Left untethered, he warned, they would sell us off piece by piece. Dad was a university history teacher and an Air Force Base Education Officer. His passions were history and statistics. It won’t end well for them.

There's a saying on American social media: "Be the American that Japanese people think you are." I'm Japanese. I've lived in Tokyo my whole life. So let me tell you what we actually say about you, when you're not in the room. "When someone falls down on the street, we pretend not to see. We're protecting their pride. Americans run straight at them. They don't care about the pride. They care about the knee." (Office worker, 38) "An American will stop four lanes of traffic for a family of ducks. And then everyone in the cars claps for the ducks." (Taxi driver, 61) "If you lend an American a pen, you will never see it again. If you need a kidney, they'll ask your blood type." (Nurse, 45) "At kids' soccer games, they cheer when the other team's kid scores. The other team's parents look confused. Then they cheer too." (Youth soccer coach, 52, lived one year in Ohio) "A man sneezed on a bus in Chicago. Eleven strangers said 'Bless you.' He said 'thank you' eleven times. Nobody on that bus thought this was strange." (University student, 21) "At an airport in Texas, I watched a soldier try to pay for his lunch. The cashier said someone already had. He asked who. She said, 'Somebody who didn't want you to know.'" (Retired teacher, 70) "American fathers cannot braid hair. But they will watch a video at midnight for an hour so their daughter's hair looks right on picture day." (Hair stylist, 33) "I ran the Chicago Marathon once. Strangers stood in the cold for hours holding signs for people they will never meet. At mile 20, a man I'd never seen read the name off my bib and screamed it like he'd raised me." (Runner, 48) "When Americans get lost, they ask a stranger. If the stranger is also lost, they become a team." (Tour guide, 39) "They ask the waitress her name. And then they remember it." (Restaurant owner, 66) And one more. From my father. He's 76. He doesn't say much about anything. This is the longest thing I have ever heard him say about another country. "Every time something terrible happens in America, I watch the news, and I look for one thing. The people running toward it. There are always so many." So, America. You don't have to become the Americans we think you are. We're not imagining you. We're remembering you.

Elon, I’m still not done with you. You like to talk about illegal immigration. Let’s talk about how you got here. In 1995, Eggman arrived in California supposedly to attend Stanford University. Fun fact, he never enrolled. Instead, he started building the company that became Zip2. According to a 2024 Washington Post investigation, former business associates, company documents, and immigration experts raised serious questions about whether Musk had proper authorization to work in the United States. By 1996, his investors were concerned enough to give him and his cofounders 45 days to obtain legal work authorization or risk having their investment reclaimed. There’s more. In a 2005 email obtained by The Washington Post, Musk acknowledged that he had applied to Stanford partly because he had no legal right to remain in the United States. His own goddamn words. Someone hurry and tell Trump. And it gets even better. In a 2013 interview, his brother Kimbal publicly described the two as illegal immigrants during those early years. The response? Elon called it a “gray area.” A gray area. The fuck? How convenient for him. He’s since denied working illegally, claiming he held a J-1 visa that transitioned to an H-1B work visa. But he hasn’t publicly established when that transition happened. I guess we’re supposed to take his word for it. The reporting, the investors’ concerns, and your own words, along with your brother’s, raise some serious questions. How about some fucking answers? Now I’m curious Eggman. And I’m especially curious about your cult members. Would you extend that same loose ass “gray area” interpretation of immigration law to a hardworking Latino father of three building the infrastructure this country depends on? A man who maybe risked his life to come here looking for an opportunity, worked his fucking ass off, paid his bills, and tried to build something better for his family? Would you call his circumstances a gray area? Would you defend his ambition? Would you argue that his contributions to America deserve consideration? Or would he be another illegal immigrant who needs to be rounded up by masked agents and deported? Because apparently immigration law becomes a fascinating philosophical exercise when the immigrant turns out to be a rich kid from South Africa. That’s what makes this so insulting. Not the failure to be woke. It’s the hypocrisy. Millions of ordinary people work themselves to exhaustion trying to build a life. They raise families, start businesses, pay taxes, and contribute to our communities from sunup to sundown. I’ve worked with many of them in construction, listened to their stories of braving a journey from Honduras, only to get to America and hide under trailers from authorities before eventually finding work. Inspiring shit I thought. Who the fuck am I to cast shade? Yet somehow, the same circumstances that invite voracious suspicion and hateful condemnation when we’re talking about some ordinary immigrant become entrepreneurial ambition when we’re talking about Elon Musk. I’m not arguing that your past should automatically disqualify you from anything Eggman. I’m asking a simple question. Would you extend the same consideration to somebody without your money, influence, or political connections? Do you people seriously think the law should become more forgiving as your bank account gets larger? Or should the American dream be available to people who aren’t already rich? Funny how the gray area becomes a crime when someone poorer walks across it.

When I see Democrats having these large venues before the midterms, and then turn around and see the Republican struggling the fill a room. I’m reminded of 2024 when Kamala was filling 2 arenas in a day, while Trump was struggling. Then Elon bought the election for him. GO VOTE.

In order to beat Donald Trump & his minions at their own game, I refuse to accept any election results that show Republicans winning their races on election day. The only way Republicans could possibly win would be by cheating & rigging the election. Anybody with me on this?

Has anyone heard lately about hordes of scary caravan invaders heading for our southern border, due about a week before election day? Fear mongering is always one of the patented Trump fixing schemes, & Trump doesn’t even seem to be putting in the effort anymore. Is the fix in?

Jack Smith just told the Truth LOUD and CLEAR! “Our investigation developed proof beyond a reasonable doubt that President Trump engaged in serious crimes against our nation. “If asked whether to prosecute a former president today based on the same facts, I would do so regardless of whether that president was a Republican or a Democrat. “The charges against President Trump were the result of the evidence. Grand juries in two separate districts reached this conclusion based on his actions, as alleged in the indictments they returned. “Rather than accept his defeat in the 2020 presidential election, President Trump engaged in a criminal scheme to overturn the results and prevent the lawful transfer of power. “After leaving office in January of 2021, President Trump illegally kept classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago social club and repeatedly tried to obstruct justice to conceal his continued retention of those documents. “Highly sensitive national security information was held in a bathroom and a ballroom where events and gatherings took place.

FOUR DAYS BEFORE HIS OWN INAUGURATION, A FOREIGN ROYAL WIRED THE TRUMP FAMILY HALF A BILLION DOLLARS IN SECRET Not a rumor. Not a leak. Documented. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed — Abu Dhabi's deputy ruler, UAE's national security adviser — bought 49 percent of World Liberty Financial through a shell entity Half a billion dollars total. $187 million of it routed straight into Trump family entities. Four days before Donald Trump raised his hand and took the oath Then the payoffs started rolling in Changpeng Zhao pleaded guilty to money laundering in 2023. Ran Binance. Processed cash for terror groups. Donald Trump pardoned him in 2025 Days later — DAYS — Binance started promoting World Liberty Financial's coin on its US platform. The same platform the Trump family had just partnered with through a foreign monarch's secret cash Meanwhile the DOJ crypto enforcement unit — the one that actually built the Zhao case, the one that actually built the BitMEX case — got disbanded. Gone. By year's end the SEC filed fewer enforcement actions than in twenty years Wall Street Journal reports Binance fired its own employees this year for flagging a billion dollars moving to sanctioned Iranian entities. Same exact conduct as the guilty plea. Same platform. Zero consequences American families who lost people on October 7th are suing Binance right now, alleging it moved money for Hamas and Hezbollah Don Jr's net worth jumped sixfold. Eric's jumped tenfold. Trump personally disclosed over a billion dollars in crypto income while regulators got defanged and a foreign royal's secret half-billion sat quietly in the family ledger This isn't a policy disagreement This is a foreign government buying a sitting president's family business four days before he took power, then watching him pardon the very felon whose platform pumped that business And nobody in this administration is even pretending to be embarrassed
