I started this account as a tribute to my girl, my always, who I’m lost without.
And to share the love I have for dogs with others like yourselves.
To support others in their happiness, charity needs, your pet grief, or simply sharing moments of dog joy.

There are people who believe that if you’re on disability benefits, you’re living in a lap of luxury. That they get all their needs met, all the things we need paid for, when in reality, many disabled people have to put up with poverty and abuse to get by. It’s barely anything!

Around 40% of Universal Credit recipients are IN WORK. The benefit tops up poor wages in order for them to survive.
Many PIP claimants also work, and the benefit enables them to do so.

Instead of welfare cuts, why not stop the £13,043,676 paid in MP's expenses. I'm sure this would help to balance the books. This is just for specific expenses. The total bill is £268,531,000 including staffing etc. I'm sure this could be pared down quite a bit if they tried.

I recently read about a woman who died by suicide while waiting for an ADHD diagnosis. She told her GP that her ADHD symptoms were worsening, her anxiety was rising, her life was falling apart. And it ended up killing her.

New DWP FOI reveals % of claimants who are at Substantial Risk (physical or mental) if they are found "fit for work" who tried & failed to qualify for Daily living PIP has risen to 31%
Yet Labour plan to make Daily Living PIP the sole gateway for incapacity & disability benefits
ALT DWP FOI dated 5 Oct 2026 (FOI2026/93104) revealed that a total of 575,310 claimants qualified under the Substantial Risk (SR) route by August (UC claimants) & March (ESA claimants) this year (2026) in England & Wales Of those, 215,930 (38%) were also in receipt of the Daily Living PIP award by the end of March 2026 (DWP FOI Ref: FO12026/102820) This leaves 359,380 (62%) SR without Daily Living PIP Of those SR who attempted to qualify for Daily Living PIP (312,240: 54%), 96,310 failed to qualify which equates to a failure rate of 30.8% (DWP FOI Ref FOI2026/931 04)
