The so-called "evil" in polygamy is simply a woman's inability to coexist peacefully with another woman or her children. So instead of becoming better people, they wage war against the entire system, and I find it bizarre that men actually buy into it. The gender that uses sex to negotiate for everything deliberately limits a man's options with one man one woman bullshit so they can manipulate him through sexual starvation and leverage, yet men still think monogamy is the best thing since sliced bread. Even when a widower remarries, the household is rarely ever peaceful because the new wife almost always launches an attack on the innocent children of the late wife. The real problem in the system isn't the structure; it's the women.

Obidi who is in her 30s claimed that women of her generation didn't have access to education. This young lady asked, 'How so, when my grandmother was a teacher?' Instead of answering her, Nigerian feminists have resorted to condescending remarks like, 'You will learn,' 'You are just a child,' 'You will grow up,' 'Experience will teach you,' and 'Men will show you shege.' Are you people mentally unstable? She asked a straightforward question, answer her. I have always maintained that what Western feminists fought for is what Nigerian women already possessed by default. The issue is that we do not know our history. There was never a point in time when Nigerian women lacked the right to own property, land, or businesses. Even when restrictions existed in education, it was because it was controlled by the colonial authorities. The moment Africans reclaimed control, education became open and accessible to all. Take the Aba Women's War of 1929: it happened because the colonizers tried to overtax women. You don't tax people who don't own property. When colonizers arrived in Africa, women already owned land, controlled trade, and ran businesses. So what exactly did feminism do for Nigeria? If anything, Africans should be saying, 'You had to adopt feminism just to gain the rights we always had.' Was our culture perfect? No, it needed refining, just like every other culture. Even the Western world was barbaric at various points in history before refining its practices over time. Someone should actually answer this young girl instead of projecting their own baggage onto her.
Nigerian's feminist worst nightmare 😂😂😂😂😂

Tinubu discovered the towns across the other side of the river and even gave them the blueprint to build the bridge and connect them. Just so you know
Watch Peter Obi speak at the flag off of Second Niger Bridge under Goodluck Jonathan. "Tinubu built Second Niger Bridge." 🤡

She named HIS son after HIM, you can do the same too or chose a different name. First come first served.
My sister just named her newborn baby after MY husband. Not her partner, not an uncle, MY husband. It is a rare family name on his side that goes back multiple generations, and she knew for years that I was planning to name my future son after him.

So the Deputy speaker is asking them to vote for Tinubu because he will build a university for them? How about you remind them what he did in the last 4 years?

But men control almost everything that keeps the world going. 😂 😂

A bank will look at Onitsha Main Market, one of Africa's largest wholesale markets, serving traders across West and Central Africa. It will look at Nnewi's substantial automotive manufacturing and component supply ecosystem. It will look at the Awka Onitsha Nnewi corridor, one of the state's major commercial concentrations. The same Onitsha Main Market that the NIPC estimates generates over $2 million in daily transactions. And somehow, we're supposed to believe that a bank would overlook all these commercial opportunities in Anambra and choose Ekiti instead simply because Ekiti is more peaceful? This Ekiti? August 2019, Ilasa-Ekiti: Armed robbers attacked a commercial bank, killing three policemen and other people. September 2019, Ise-Ekiti: Armed robbers attacked Wema Bank, used explosives to breach its security door and stole money. A security guard was killed. October 2020, Iyin-Ekiti: Robbers attacked Wema Bank, blasted their way into the banking hall and carted away millions of naira. July 2021, Otun-Ekiti: Armed robbers attacked a bank and killed a policeman. November 2021, Aramoko-Ekiti: Armed robbers attacked a bank, killing two people, including a policeman. December 2023, Ikere-Ekiti: Armed robbers attacked Access Bank and Wema Bank, using explosives to breach their entrances. Three people were reportedly killed. LMAO.
I served in Anambra State, Ekwusugo LGA to be precise. The functional banks in Anambra are located in four towns: Awka, Onitsha, Nnewi, and IHIALA. Other towns have no banks or only non-functional ones. Once you leave Onitsha, you’d barely see functional banks until you get to IHIALA. The distance from Onitsha to IHIALA is like traveling from the mainland to Island In Ekiti State, towns like Efon Alaye, Aramoko, Iyin, Oye, Ado, Ikere, etc., have functional banks. Also, banks are strategic in where they establish branches. If a location is prone to illegal activities (robbery, k!dnapping, etc) , they won’t open a branch in that location. Banks will consider opening a branch in Ekiti towns rather than in Anambra because Ekiti is 70% peaceful and easier for doing business.

I'm not sure you guys understand how silly this argument sounds. If you're offering services at different levels, you don't need to know what the client is using the service for. You can simply have a premium package that, once purchased, gives the client the best possible service for the entire day. It may not be the client's wedding, but if they're attending an important event, they need their makeup to last all day. They shouldn't have to tell you it's a wedding for you to give them makeup that will last all day. It could be a business meeting or any other important occasion or even interstate travel. They shouldn't have to explain themselves. Just create a premium package that offers the same level of service you'd give someone getting ready for a wedding. Anyone who wants that level of service can pay for it, regardless of the occasion. Is that really so difficult?
That's fine. But my work is how I get referrals. You're at the wedding telling everyone I did it and your face is cracked and your mascara is running. All because you couldn't tell me the truth. Why ruin one of the biggest days of your life over a lie.

If you're eating blended yam in your house, it's because you don't want to pound. Women cook the yam and make the soup, men pound.
An Italian chef would rather get sacked than put pineapple as a topping on a pizza. Those people don’t joke with their food culture. You don’t break their spaghetti while trying to cook it. But Nigerian women, because of sheer laziness and aesthetic, want to westernize all their food, thereby turning pounded yam into blended yam, and many local dishes have lost their authentic nature and taste. Y'all should keep your westernization to wearing fake hair, fake lashes, makeup, and fake butts. Leave our food alone. No be aesthetics we go chop.

A bit similar to what happened in this video. The daughter wants the biological father who disappeared to walk her too, her step dad said no and they disinvited him from the wedding so he said the wedding will no longer hold at his home if he's not invited and the girl's mother sued him for a $150k It's crazy.
A sister of mine is getting married this December. There is already family drama around the wedding. Her mother died when she was four. Shortly after, her father abandoned her and disappeared. It was her father’s younger brother who took her in, raised her as his own, paid her school fees from primary school through university, and gave her a home. Even after he got married, she continued living with him. His wife accepted her as her own daughter. He took responsibility for her until she graduated, got a good job, and relocated to Abuja. She has found love. Her fiancé is ready to marry her. Her biological father has reconnected with her. She has agreed that he will receive her bride price as her father. But she has made one decision, the uncle who raised her will be the one to walk her down the aisle. Her biological father is furious. He insists he is her father and must perform that honour. He has threatened to scatter the wedding if her uncle walks her down the aisle. There are already disagreement between the two brothers. The father feels she has transferred all the rights of fatherhood to his brother .

You're clowning now for real. If a program has 30 prayer points and only one requires wearing a specific outfit, how exactly do you expect people to prove they did the other 29? Do you expect them to post the deep intercession, prayers for nations, career growth, healing, and personal development that are internal, quiet, and unphotogenic? Should everyone screenshot or record hours of private prayer just to satisfy your timeline? People also dressed up like pilots, doctors, and CEOs for their dream jobs, but you conveniently ignored all of that to focus on one thing. What exactly is wrong with you people?

But the dress your miracle is the most we see online. It’s the most paramount that flies around. I’m not against dressing your miracles but it’s how women have conditioned themselves to marriages and having children alone!

If youth, education and competence matter, consistency should too. Don't preach meritocracy only when it favours your candidate... With Peter Obi, there is constitency..

During the last election, this dude refused to name his candidate, said he was neutral but was subtly throwing darts at Obi. His friends encouraged him to take a stand but he refused. It's good to know that he's finally grown some balls. As bet no pay, maybe APC gig go pay.
The Ekiti they constantly mock is still ahead of the state they claim their “messianic” governor has transformed.
