Community Partnership Director

Last night the City of Mesa was recognized as an All-America City! This year's theme was "Creating Thriving Communities Through Youth Engagement." We are so proud that SPARC, which is the umbrella over all our youth programs, played a role in receiving this prestigious award.

THIS is what it’s all about! Two officers 👮‍♂️👮‍♀️spotted these young entrepreneurs while leaving a call for service in their neighborhood… the boys are trying to earn money to buy basketball shoes and toys. Best $5 spent ever!!

Community Engagement Academies (CEA) are a great way to learn, ask questions, and meet other community leaders in Mesa. We are extending that opportunity to teens between 13 - 18. Sign up now. Space is limited!!! Contact [email protected]. Next Teen CEA is June 5th!

We're so happy to have spring training back in Arizona! Did you know that many of our police officers used to play baseball before they came to Mesa PD? They'll be featured in our new recruiting campaign - Athletes in Policing. facebook.com/MPDJobs/posts/8…

We partnered with the @bgcarizona to give youth in the community an opportunity to get out, have fun, and get to know the officers that patrol their area on a personal level. Special thanks to The Mesa Hohokams for their generous grant to make this possible!

We spent the last two weekends at Walmart Mesa - N Dobson Rd for our annual Mesa Shop With A Cop and Arizona LEOS Shop With A Cop. We had fun hanging out with the kids, and helping them fill up their carts with gifts for their families. #shopwithacop #communityengagement
